Default GJ Delta A350-900 No Flaps Version

Yeah, not too happy with this one. I think it will be my last flaps down version if this is what is to be expected.

;( I didn't think the elevators was movable or separated pieces?

At least on the flap vers, the horizontal stab is one piece?

I am not sure why GJ chose to mold the elevators and the the rudder as separate pieces in the flaps down version, I appreciate the effort but it seems a little unnecessary and obviously lead to some unintended consequences. Overall the model is nice, but I am not sure this collector is going to want to deal with the hassle of figuring out how to keep these control surfaces from falling off.

no collector should have to deal with this and I agree its a pain in the a**..However as a longtime member here, you along with everyone else knows that just a dab of glue and all is fixed.

They're elevator trim tabs. Snap right in. They are movable.

One of mine was out and I snapped it right in. Not a big deal at all.

Now wait a minute! I didn't know that GJ has the elevators and rudder as separated pieces on the flap down ver? That would be extra features over the flap up ver!

It does suck that yours came loose. However, I did not know this is actually an additional feature! I didnt notice it as separate on my recent flap down SW 737 retro pseudo mustard. Maybe now i will have to go back and look again?

well, I am still on the fence about it.. I definitely like it if that's a feature they can add to every model. a lot of my 1/72 military models have this. Sadly HM doesn't ;( Well, I hope to get another one with movable rudder and elevators again!

It is probably a feature only on the A350. Flaps down 747s don't have separate pieces either for the rudder & elevators.

Don't get too excited about this feature, while the pieces snap back in, you can't deflect/move them noticeably, and if you move them too far, they're either going to fall off or you're going to end up breaking the tab they're attached too. Again nice idea but I would rather not deal with the hassle of loose parts.

Are the parts made of plastic? Or metal?
