Default IF200 airbus a321neo airasia 9m-vaa - really heavy

hi all.
i just received this lovely model. IF200 has done a wonderful job.
airasia 9m vaa, airbus a321 neo
details and printing look really good.
im just very surprised at how heavy this model is for its size! it weighs 440g.
its heavier than my oleksandr antonov an225 !
even when compared to a widebody aircraft by jcwings, it feels heavy

weight in comparison to a closely sized diecast model by jcwings- insane! the 737-800 is only 162g!

Already ordered. One of the best model promo videos I have ever seen. Looks like the real aircraft in a handover in Toulouse to Air Asia or a paint shop in Manila. Either way, this is very cool. Here is the link https://fb.watch/7MsJ_DcGWa/

That’s a very nice model, very tempting.

FYI: The IF200 Boeing B757 American, is heavier, weighing 510 gr. and their A320 weighs 376 gr...

i also bought it from myhobbyhouse! they said they managed to get quite a few copies. as MHH is malaysian, i think this airasia a321 is an MHH exclusive, not sure if you can get it elsewhere

That is because it is aluminium.

I am also disappointed with inflights A320, very old school zinc alloy and upcoming landing gear problems as they are not designed to handled this weight.

the jcwings 737-800 is so light, but the landing gears are so flimsy they still barely hold the model up haha
