Default Herpa 11/12 2021

They are really speeding up their Il-62 output...

Also the Condor 722 wasn't such a surprise... ...my guess: Hapag-Lloyd 722 next...

I see they release the (only) Luxembourg A400M, stationed in Melsbroek near Brussels about 3 km from where I live.
I guess a Belgian A400M will follow soon then...

Very nice releases indeed! Finally a klm super connie without the radar nose! Pan am DC4 is a stunner. I'm with Filip again, same models exactly

Even though we realistically are talking about next years summer releases I'm still very happy to see more Il-62's released.

The PA DC-4 is exciting news! Colors in pic look a little off, will wait to see it when it makes it to market!

That KLM Connie without the radar nose is indeed good news, but the Herpa website showns something different, so I am curious what it is going to be.

If without a radardome (and wingtip tanks) it is technically a L1049-E (as per picture below)
If with radardome and wingtip tanks it is a L1049-G (as indicated on the Herpa website).
I believe PH-LKC was later retrofittted with a radar.

I really start to like Herpa and their 1/200 offers. Time to pay Dietenhofen another visit I think...

There are currently two announcements for a herpa KLM super connie; both Negaton. One to be released sept/okt and one for nov/ dec. The first is listed with the radome and wingtanks as PH-LKC Negaton and the later one without the tanks and radome as PH-LKU Negaton. Curious if this is correct?

Exclamation Re: Herpa 11/12 2021

Well, the IL-62 Freighter and the INTERFLUG are a must

The freighter as we had it once last (or was it this) year here in FRA, but it never come back due to a start preformance you can watch here :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtczJXovuvs

And the INTERFLUG... well again it was an IL-62 which made this incredible Landing Performance... worth to watch it too

I cannot believe that the TU-144S that Herpa is releasing is the same registration that I requested in an email I sent them less than a week ago! Hmmm.
The only issue I see is that the doors and the symbol just ahead of the cheatline and just behind the cockpit window should be aeroflot blue and not red. Yes, I know this is just a drawing.

Can't wait!

I have no doubt they will be released in due course, I even requested the Soviet version in my email to them.

Is it possible that this one had both colour schemes. First the one with red door outlines and red logo and then, after turning it into the D-version by changing the engines, they changed the color scheme into the Aeroflot one.

with best regards,
Jan

Unfortunately in all of my excitement I misread the registration as CCCP-77106, the one I had requested, a production model and not CCCP-77105 a development a/c with the correct red door outlines and symbol. D'oh.
This airframe has since been scrapped.

If Herpa is also making PH-LKU (which would be great), they need to name it Photon instead of Negaton. The later name was only used for PH-LKC.

KLM PH-LKU is a L-1049C Super Constellation with the name "Photon" (short nose, no wingtiptanks); it will be correct (see Newsfolder Herpa).
The other one KLM PH-LKC is a L-1049G Super Constellation with the name "Negaton" (long nose , wingtiptanks).
So both will be correct and both are must haves for me!

Don't really regularly collect 1/200 commercial these days, but these are seriously tempting!

I saw PH-LKU added to the Herpa website now as well. The 40 years decal on the fuselage is an added bonus for me. Indeed nice additions.
