There's a spelling mistake. It should be "Europa Jet 727" instead of "Europe Jet 727".

Interested to see if our chinese friends are getting that corrected for the final product.

That would be a mistake indeed. Strange that they release a LH 722 simultanious with Herpa. I think herpa will be the better one as on gj/jc mold

I'm not into 1/200 but I consider buying the Herpa simply as I like the mould/livery combo.

While I could live with an "e" instead of "a", JFOX is the IF200 mould, right? If so, not interested.

Even stranger is why they release these, while JCW released them moons ago.

Sure, these will sell.
I will no more spend any money on models with this mold, as long as there are better ones from JCW/Gemini200, or he herpa one mentionend. Sorry!

Plus: on the left-hand side of the fuselage the city’s name should come first, then the city logo and then “Europa Jet 727”. There might have been differences over the years, though.

Not at all, Sir. Number 2 and 3 are identical concerning the name and “Europa Jet 727” titles, number 1 simply was not christened or does not have any name anymore.

Ausnahmen bestätigen die Regel
PI was one of those exceptions. Received its name in late 80s I think and indeed had the name behind the logo on port.

Edit: I guess they just added name and logo behind the existing titles.

There was indeed something different about "PI" but my memory isn't homing in on it. I worked for LH 1980-1987 and mostly with 707, 727, A300, & DC-10 so they are all quite clear in my memories.

As I have the Herpa Premium models, I'm not really interested in adding others. D-ABCI might be joining my collection though!!

It seems that the spelling error isn’t being corrected, still “Europe Jet” instead of “Europa jet”

(Can’t upload a photo there, check Jfox facebook page)

While I don’t think the IF mould is so bad that I would never ever purchase a desired model released on it, the JCW mould is decisively better and absolutely preferred. So, I would not obtain this Lufthansa release since Herpa is coming out with another one released on the borrowed JC mould.
