Real tomato ketchup Eddie?
Nothing but the best! "I don't know why they call this stuff hamburger helper. It does just fine by itself, huh? I like it better than tuna helper myself, don't you, Clark?"

JAS 777 are ready… that model came out months ago in Japan only.

The concorde looks very nice but it doesn’t fit in my collection so maybe i’ll pass this time.

miss the wooden stand…

I though JC wing already did a concorde pepsi a while back?

https://database.diecastmodelaircraf...&scale=1%3A200

How is this "new" version gonna be different? I have the first ver so wondering if i should get another? Btw, the first ver uses the same great GJ mould with adjustable nose, afterburners and removable gears!

I feel like JC Wings keeps releasing models no one asked for... Tons of requests for years that have yet to be granted.

I missed the Pepsi Concorde the first time around, so I am tempted. However, re-releases generally make me grumpy, so I kind of don’t want to support that behaviour.

They actually released three different versions with regs N111MD, N211MD, & N311MD. Is N211MD the one you are referring to with the full color scheme?

They are re-releasing N111MD with this batch.

Part of me wants to get the Polar but I'm not going to preorder anything. It will be a game time decision come September/October or whenever it shows up.

Relax, do worry, as we get older and hang on to our valuable collection pieces, there is a next generation waiting in the wings joining to join us old fossils that are not willing to part with any piece of our collections. I once had your view, and I did agree with many of us on that point. Re-releases are fine with me on any model 1/200. Bring them on with any new developments.

This lovely journey of our hobby has gone from plastic, to diecast, rolling rubber tyres, spinning fan blades, add in display stands, plastic wooden or metal, (tri-stands), to detailed landing gear lights, wing Jewell lights, antenna, drain mast, Advance engine options, flaps up, flaps down, and if I am not mistaken even magnetic gear. Gear up options for us to choose how to display our models. I hope that I have covered every thing that is up to date with our hobby as it evolves.

The very first JCW Pepsi Concorde had fixed gear like this below.

The new one does not have fixed gear. It has magnetic gear and looks a bit like this sample. I love the way JCW are still rocking the old wood stand for this promo. Gear up options please with every Concorde. Thank Johan order has been placed.

Lesson (1) Re-releases are not always the same. Sometimes they are better. Please be aware

Add to the list interactive models with lifting noses on cargo aircraft and opening cabin doors on some models. I wouldn’t be surprised if descending rear air stairs on aircraft like the Caravelle, DC-9/MD-80 and 727 will be next.

I’d like a re-release of the regular last livery of the Air France Concorde by GJ with the registration F-BTSD that’s at the Air & Space Museum at Le Bourget. It operated the last commercial flight by AF.

I completely agree with this, and IMO not only because they become better. Re-releases on the long term are always necessary because every x years people leave the hobby, and other people will have joined the community as new collectors. It is a rotating system and old model planes often dissapear in dark attics, are given away to toddlers banging on it with a hammer to "play airplane disaster", or are simply not wanted anymore because quality has greatly improved in the meantime. Also, collectors sometimes mis a model, because they give priority to other models, their monthly budget is limited, and so they keep postponing the purchase of that one model. Also these people must be given the chance to collect the models they want (even if it is on the long term) and get them new at a reasonable price, instead of only being able to find them 2d hand on eBay at astronomical prices. You can also mis some interesting models simply because you entered the hobby "just too late" for a specific model you really wanted, but currently not available anymore although released only two years ago. I personally missed some specific liveries and I am impatiently hoping for a re-release of these models. If re-releases did not exist, where or when would I get my Sabena B747-100 for example? No, in that case our hobby would sooner or later also disappear...

I've seen some prelim photos of the polar air cargo posted in some stores and I really hope the flight deck windows on the models that do ship to us are not what is depicted in those prelim photo
