Default Photos: JC Wings ANA, JAL, CX Tug Trucks

I got these Tug Trucks last week and today I took a few photos with my aircraft models. IMO it looks really nice, is made of metal and is very detailed. Enjoy the pictures!

Indeed, beautiful and yet realistic ! So many great model releases, especially Herpa premiums.

Very nice photo's there man! a good camera does bring in nice results
Love the ANA set the most tho <3

But as usual something did get my attention and sorry to mention it :X
The Herpa Premium KLM B747-406 PH-BFA's blackened windows, well they should not even be there! this was interesting to find out that even their Premiums have mistakes, then again not one model is perfect.

This was a bare blank metal piece that was painted dark blue as like the rest of this part of the cheatline, the blank part reveals the galley, later KLM used sealed windows for these sections.

And here the model from Inflight 200 showing the corrected galley section:

Here your Herpa Premium KLM B747-406 PH-BFA:

Also the strange seams the Herpa Premium model has on the lower part of the underside (This might of been part of it's production process)
Not saying that IF200 is perfect, they are far from it rofl, as they too have many things that can be improved, just thought it was cool to mention, as a KLM B747 addict myself such things are easy to seep out.

It would of been nice if JC Wings would do the PH-BFA, but I guess that is just a pipe dream for now.
But yea that was it really, sorry for posting that here but then again it was something they really was hard to miss.

Thanks for your information. I didn't recognize this mistake from Herpa Premium, but yes, no model is perfect like 1:1. For me, Herpa Premium is the best model ever.

I took a closer look at the photos and the model again, that was my mistake, the settings for converting of the photo batch from RAW to JPEG with any wrong: image type, light, etc ... I've corrected the settings and the photos should be converted more correctly

If i'm not mistaken, did JCW or GJ produce the PH-BFA a few years ago?

Thank you . Yes I will try to post often here in the forum. At the moment I feel like taking pictures again, without this passion it's just hard to take any pics.

For you Herpa Premium is the best model ever for me that would be from Hasagawa, Modelsvit, Trumpeter or Tamiya
If comparing to company built models JC Wings wins this in a heartbeat, just more realistic and better accuracies like paint color palettes and decals and such.
But as for GJ200 or JCW that had released a PH-BFA a few years back, I am not sure about that to be honest

IF200 did one but that too had weird flaws in it, overall result wasn't too shabby tho, but ya your Herpa Premium does destroy the IF 200 model easily, only the price just doesn't.
JC Wings has the PH-BFH with Air France/KLM Livery from 2003-2020 with the 2014 KLM 95 years art on it & the PH-BFT with the newer Wave Livery, these look better than the Herpa Premium KLM B747-406
Diecast Metal just looks more realistic, plus the colors are not too vivid and over done, plastic is hard to bring realism to it's rights for such a small scale, especially when it comes to these factory made models.

But if compared to a Modelkit from Hasagawa, Modelsvit, Trumpeter or Tamiya? Well I am sure you can even create even more realism to your model for much much less, like applying weathering and what not.
They will make the price of the Herpa Premiums stupendously overrated, but hey each to their own man, if you can afford these, go for it man no one will be stopping you, they do look great for a PVC model for sure

If wanting more details in my models, I'd just go for scale 1:144 or 1:72 by Modelsvit or Trumpeter mainly, these are extremely hard to beat, if I never had the arthritis like I have now, this is what I would of done instead.

Here a scale 1:72 Modelsvit Tu-144S the CCCP-77102 and it is just insane when it came to details, this is a modelkit of 360 euros or so, and that is just the bare modelkit ex all the needed paints and what not else.
But damn all the time this guy put in to it was pretty inane, these make the Herpa Premums look like over priced toys in reality:

With modelkits, your possibilities are just endless, I do miss this at times.
