Default Inflight Air France A319/320/321 trio

I am currently thinking of buying a trio of jets.

1:200 Air France Airbus A321 F-GTAZ Inflight200 IF321AF19187

1:200 Air France Airbus A320 F-HEPK Inflight200 IF320AF19186

1:200 Air France Airbus A319 F-GRXM Inflight200 IF319AF19185

The are listed as Inflight models but are not to be found on the inflight pages. Does anyone have these models? Are they happy with them? Do they have magnetic gears?

Or are there other models out there? I am buying all aircraft KLM does not have and Air France has...

I dont have these models, but I think all these models were made by Inflight for Socatec, so all of them should be Inflight mold with removable landing gears.

These models are commissioned by SOCATEC.

I have two of them, the A 319 and the A 321, I already have quite a lot of A 320s so I did not buy the Inflight product.

Good models the best die cast models on the market, simply the cockpit windows are a bit oversized but I can live with it.

I also have the A 320 with winglets produced by Herpa, the livery commemorates the 80 th anniversary of AF.
It is plastic, very, very nice, very accurate, a true A 320, maybe the best rendition of the A 320.

Jean Pierre.

All Airbus products on INFLIGHT200 and their families are fitted with magnetic gears and as JP has already stated are great products. On another not JP i have been try to find that AF 80th Ans model with no luck.

Great models, I have the Air France A321 (Germanwings A319 and Iran Air A320). Love the removable gear, details, weight, and maybe most important the nose section. Cockpit windows maybe a tad too large, but OK for me too.

The problem with Herpa is that their models are produced in very limited numbers.

It was particularly true when they released the AF B 707-320, the AF museum received so few models that they felt very frustrated almost humiliated and ordered a second batch.

I seized the opportunity to contact Herpa and suggest that a B 707-320 with a short fin, no ventral fin would be a nice complement to the first release which had a tall fin and a ventral fin.

Not sure that the AF museum was in the loop or aware of my exchanges with Herpa but i was very happy to welcome this new version ...

Back to the A 320 with a commemorative livery ...

SOCATEC is refurbishing its website, we have no access to it but unless I am wrong, I think that the 75th anniversary livery is still available.
Just a retro livery with the 75 th anniversary logo on the engine nacelles.
It is an Hogan snap fit model, a decent product, good enough to go in my cabinet and you know that I can be very selective.

Hopefully something will be made for the 90 th anniversary in 2023.

I attach pictures.

Jean Pierre.

Those windows are indeed too large and look Boeing-esque to me.

I have all three of these models. The strange thing is that the AF321 is not listed on DIMA, only the GJ version.

Hopefully Air France to a few nice 90th Anniversary Aircraft with 90th ANS on it, or 1933 to 2023 either way it should be celebrated.

Isn't it so sad that we can't get a 1/200 air france A318 to complete this?

They are very nice models. They have the same livery but all aircraft has differences in winglets, engines and fuselage add-ons. I noticed one very particular thing. They are heavy, much more heavy then other similar size aircraft.

A321 454 grams
737-900er 170 grams
A340-300 665 grams

If you have doubt.... order them. They are great.... now I want the A220 and the A318...

Thank you for these pictures.

AF will receive its first A 220 in September, a model might be available at the same time, if I remember well, that's what happened for the B 787.

Thank you for your interest in my airline.

Jean Pierre.
