Very nice to see a lufthansa 727-200!!! Hope it will be on JC's mold. Will take a KLM super connie aswell, can't go wrong with more connies in my collection. Thx for posting!

Great move by Herpa to (maybe) get the liscense of the JC/GJ 727-200 mould! I see lots of nice liveries coming... ;):D

Yes she is airworthy. I think CASA have a permanent car spot down at HARS issuing airworthy certificates when the aircraft pass!
VH-EDB had a very interesting life it started out with the USAF constructed as a C54A-1-DO then sold to American Airlines after WW2 "Flagship America" before being sold to Qantas in 1949 all the info you can read right here. The other question you had Tom was when did DC4's leave Qantas fleet, I think they remained until 1997.

If the LH 722 is on the GJ/JC-mould I'll surely get one. Would look nice beneath my JC D-ABFI, the three LH Model Editions and the LH 721s :)

Sadly the fuselage of one of my HERPA B721's LH yellowed :evil:

Therefore my only whish for the new release:

NO POLISHED FINISH !!!

I have the D-ABIR release and there is no yellowing at all. The upcoming release, done for Herpa by JC, will certainly have a polished finish.

One could add D-ABMI was leased from Condor, hence the gray belly. Made it a unique 727 in LH’s fleet.

Great catch… didn’t know that this existed.

And regarding the 1:200, the 3 HERPA Premium releases weren’t polished…
