Thumbs up Photos: Gemini200 China Airlines Cargo 747-400F

Loving these interactive series! Would be great if the L1 door would open like the 777 series. While I'm at it, can we please incorporate interactive flaps?

It looks very good, could we have pictures of the same model with all doors closed ?

Thanks a lot for the nice pictures!

BTW can anybody tell me why the B747’s of this “active series” don’t have a shining colour finish ???

Another great topic Jan, beautiful. The interactive series really add value to a diorama set up. The Aerologic 777 is my first and I really am surprised that when all the doors are closed, the model looks allmost more realistic then a normal release 777. How is that with the 747? (Same question as Jean Pierre but am curious too)

Im pleased to report that for those who want to display the interactive series with some of the doors closed, the seams are in most cases hairline slim and almost undetectable.

Great pictures. Looks less “toylike” than I thought. Might just have to get one now….

These are not models...They have got to be real full size airplanes, tugs...See the tarmac, it looks like the real airport tarmac.....

Loved the pictures....Congratulations.

Well, those are very impressive dioramas you make there. Beautiful photos. Congratulations on your acquisition. It's a very impressive model.

this is very cool, gives us B747 fans & Model collectors in general more choice to choose from, would be cool to see a classic B747-100/200F with these options or a B747-200/300/400 Combi's from KLM & Malaysia maybe or just other passenger models with movable cargo doors, or even the B747SP's I see room for expansion with those as well, this is a great development for sure!

Awesome photo's Jan Jasinski! nice Diorama as well

As requested, here are the closed door photos. The nose in the closed position is definitely the biggest downfall of the 747 series. However to me, it's not a big deal considering I will likely display it open. As for the other doors, I have no complaints.

Many thanks for the pictures.
The guy who made the front cargo door did a great job.
Adjusting everything was not an easy task.

Could be worse but I am not over the fence at all. The seams are... well, they are.. huge - and I assume it’s just a matter of moving parts until the nose cargo door will turn sloppy and less fitting.

Still, a nice idea when you are into cargo jets in operating conditions on ground.

No moving parts. You have 2 nose pieces supplied. One up and the other closed. both slide into position. the zoomed in effect makes it look a lot worse than it really is..Mine is displayed all closed up and barely noticeable when viewed in a curio.

Maybe Gemini need to do the pax door. Herpa managed with their Air Berlin A320.

Thanks for sharing the closed up pics Jan. The nose cargo door I would have to see in person. I am not convinced yet. Indeed, maybe the close up pics makes more gaps visible than the naked eye can see.

The Air Berlin was a decal I believe. Check out the Gemini AeroLogic 777 it has a removable front door.
