Default JC WINGS 1:200 Boeing dreams take flight 787-9 an

Hello everyone…
i’m thinking to buy one of the following models:
- jc wings 1:200 Dreams Take Flight B787-9 N1015B
- Jc wings 1:200 Latam 777-300er Galaxy's Edge - PT-MUA

Still undecided between these 2 because both are beautiful… but the 787-9 is very limited release

if you want to leave an advice, will help me!
thanks

I prefer the B 787 ...
... but it's up to you.

I recently got the LATAM one… a MUST for me as I flew with my family with this particular aircraft many times its good old “TAM times”.

After packing it out AND HOLDING IT IN MY HANDS I was very (positive) surprised about the fine details like the well done Carbon-look of the black parts, which I never mentioned before by looking at the pictures on the internet.

Regarding the B787 I could nothing say beside it looks also very nice…

Love the star wars a lot. If you want a model that isn't plane white, though, choose the dreams. It will stand out

I had no idea they were already shipping out. Who did you order from if you don't mind me asking? I ordered freom diecastairplane and wondering when those go out.

To the OP, I have that 787 from JCW and I can say that I am completely 100% happy and satisfied with how it came out. The colors are gorgeous, and the printing looks excellent IMHO. You won't go wrong with picking this one up, but I also love the LATAM, so either way you will come out a winner!

MyHobbyHouse in Malaysia got theirs in about two weeks ago. I don't think any US retailers have gotten them yet. MyHobbyHouse tends to get things in early -- they have the Cargolux Not Without My Mask non-interactive as well. The Dreams Take Flight are not there yet but they said they'll ship them in about two weeks.

It's a pretty good place to order from. Their prices are pretty competitive which help offset the higher shipping costs. As a bonus, the cheapest option is usually DHL and then you'll at least get it in two days. It certainly beats paying $40 for shipping from other places abroad and then it showing up in the mail 2-3 weeks later.

As for the OP, I've got both on pre-order but if I personally had to choose just one, I'd go for the LATAM.

Until my displays are done pics are verboten. So they remain in the boxes for the time being. Hoping to get everything done in a few weeks. On the final approach to have the 1/72 military boxed and move over to civil and military 1/200.

This is certainly a personal preference, but I'd choose the 787 because: 1) I'm not a big fan of the 777; 2) I'm not a fan of black & white liveries; 3) I like Star Wars but not enough to buy a model of a plane painted in a Star Wars livery (except maybe ANA 787); and 4) I like what the Dreams Take Flight livery represents. It's a tribute to the Employees Community Fund of Boeing. It celebrates Boeing employees who've contributed to charity ($1 billion to aid local communities) through the organisation. The symbols represent the charities who've been helped by the Fund.

Or try to find any Alaska More to Love model which is like a clone to the Dream 787 reversed!

Real tomato ketchup Eddie?
Nothing but the best! "I don't know why they call this stuff hamburger helper. It does just fine by itself, huh? I like it better than tuna helper myself, don't you, Clark?"

I just received mine also, after almost 1 year of ordering it

unfortunately i am disappointed. i thought mine was unique as it seemed like a printing error (the nose cone as well as the cockpit windows is purple when it should be blue like the rest of the front part of the fuselage)

but i did more research and it seems like the entire batch has this problem!

In your 'research' did you not find this post and explanation?

https://www.diecastaircraftforum.com...ml#post2829442

It has nothing to do with the "batch".
The color difference is not an error.
Yes it appears a little more exaggerated on the model than it was in real life, but it was definitely there, and was definitely noticeable.

Take it from someone who was up close and personal with this airplane for several days. My only minor frustration with this model is they would have benefitted by choosing a color for the flight deck windows that provided greater contrast so the windows stand out. Even though the color they chose is a close approximation of the real thing from the outside.
