Default AC200 National DC-8-21 just landed

Fly me.... to the sunshine state!

Just added to my collection. I do still need a silver belly IF DC-10 though. Enjoy!

I still prefer the earlier 64~67 livery DC-8. the finish on it is outstanding

Congrats! I love the 'Instant Florida' aka 'Sun King' aka 'Sunburst' livery. I'd see their aircraft often at TPA.

I always liked the Sun King livery. As a kid, I had a National DC-10 model kit by Aurora. Was a long time ago, back in the 1970s.

An interesting and useless bit of National trivia- before she was an actress in films and “Sex and the City,” Kim Catrall, who played Samantha in the series, was a flight attendant for National.

Lovely scheme that I always remember the sun king tails of the DC-10's at Heathrow. They turn out a quality model at Aeroclassics the finish and detailing are superb.

Beautiful! Love the Sun Kings...remember seeing the big Sun King logo inside Washington National Airport back in the day!

Congratulations!

Always great to see an other national fan here, I myself have their NAL B747-135 the N77772 "SUN KING" from 1970 which was later renamed to "Patricia" in 1972., also a hard one to find when it comes to rare B747's

Cool to see you have one as well, here's my NAL B747-135

There was also a DC-10 with a white belly I believe.

Yes, the white belly DC-10 was Pan Am merger produced by IF200.

I am a big National airlines fan. I flew them often when I was growing up in the south. Thanks to Aeroclassics for producing these and the other short and long NAL DC-8s
