Default Eurowings A330-200 Turk A330-300 Condor 767-300

My latest additions. Found these for $40 each. Thought that was great price so i grabbed them quick.. They are herpa plastics but are excellent models

I have always liked the Herpa A330 wing roots compared to Hogan A330. The herpa version is more realistic and detailed like the real thing compared to the hogan a330. Limox/hogan didn't correct the wing root on their moulds until they released their A350.

Beautiful models Wildpig. Congratulations on these new acquisitions.

You've already told me before that the wing roots at Herpa are better finished than the Hogan models.
Now I'm curious enough to take action. I will order the Herpa Wings A330-300 in Edelweiss livery.

Cheers, Deephalo.

you won't regret it at all The only thing herpa could improve on their model is if they take a cue from hogan and make their wings detachable so they can have smaller packaging and also have removable gears

so if you combine the best features of hogan and herpa you would have the perfect plastic moulds

When did Herpa start using their own A330 moulds? Looking at DiMA the only model I'd be interested in is a KLM A333 but that was produced in 2013.

The KLM was on the older Lysia mold.

how is that mould different from the current? less details?

Seems like there is only one lysia A330: https://database.diecastmodelaircraft.com/model/21252
