Thanks for the info.

Well... if we’re really talking about the testbed, I can hardly speak of a real ‘new mould’. But that’s just my two cents worth... it’s the Pratt & Whitney747SP engine testbed aircraft, I assume.

The B747SP would be a completely new modul for JCWINGS.

Nice to see a competitor to the IF200 one...

Hah, you’re correct, of course. I forgot about JC Wings will be a new 747SP mould.

I guess the problem with these unusual model is that they can only be used for a very limited number of times so it becomes very expensive per unit ;(

JC Wings released 2 Korean Air 747SPs back in 2014. Most likely with borrowed tooling.

IF200 seems to have flooded market with every possible SP scheme including the P&W testbed.

At least JC will have the ability to do this test bed with the extra engine.

There was speculation about a potential Il-62. THAT would be a really new mould!

A DC-9-51 would have been nice aswell ...

No doubt they are making a Pratt & Whitney 747SP! Glad they are mounting the side engine. I was able to photograph that aircraft this summer!

I'm not a sucker for one-offs but if they decide to rerelease some of the more appreciated regular versions that fetch top moneys nowadays I'm all in.

Haven't taken notice of that speculation. I'd appreciate a link to that 'speculation'.
