hey guys we waited for this one a long time..I even contacted inflight 200 last year about it. I asked if for sure will be polished belly..the pics are out and it's grey not polished...sure makes the model less attractable ..at least it has removable gears. Even their inflight number suggests p for polished !!!

The item number speaks for a polished belly model, indeed. However, Air Transat’s L-1011 “November Hotel” sported that light gray belly for a very, very long time in it’s long Air Transat history before it was repainted in the then-new colors (those with white fuselage and blue star tail).
so, in essence, it’s not wrong - but obviously not polished.
Apart from the wrong font of the remarkable LTU tail titles, it appears to be an almost perfect replica, indeed! Now that these are already offered on eBay, I have little hope that our urgent feedback concerning this problem did come in time. :-/

Why not? Who cares today! It was lost in a maintenance fire. No fatalities. Furthermore, we are talking about a type of aircraft of which each and every single airframe is already permanently stored, dismantled or destroyed in another way. No problem, from my point of view.

Thank god they adopted that suggestion (or they intended to make it an ex-PSA themselves, who knows?). And... watch out for all the other details related to this fact (ex-PSA aircraft) that were also implemented.

C-FTNH looks amazing. I remember this as a regular visitor to Prestwick in the mid-1990s. Very happy care-free days! Great livery on a great aeroplane. Madridista’s description is spot-on. I’m really looking forward to adding this one to the collection. Anyone up for a -500 in this beautiful livery. I remember, probably summer 1997, when the TriStar500s they got from TAP could do Glasgow - Vancouver direct!
