Default Air India Boeing 747-200 by Inflight200

Hello everyone,
My review video for the new Inflight200 Air India B747-200 ‘Vikramaditya’ is here.
This model holds a really special place in my collection, especially since I work for Air India and the jumbos are just such an iconic aircraft.
I love this classic Air India centaur livery.
Do check it out, and let me know what you think.
Best wishes,
Saif

I love the paint detail around each window on Air India aircraft. I flew from Canada to FRA in 2019 on a LH744 and we pulled into the gate beside an Air India 744. Seeing those iconic Air India windows beside me was a great way to start the trip!

Nice video presentation, I really enjoyed it!

Indeed, a real beauty and the "AI red" is spot on not like the JFox release of several years ago...the window details were one of the stand out features of the original design of the "Palace in the Sky" 747's of the 1970's...made me stand up and go to the window at LHR when she taxied in!

My models asking me to get a pair of white gloves before touching them....lol

The 747 needs to go forward further. The nosewheel is not on the mark for a 747. It's on the mark for A319. The gate driver will be pissed.

The AI 747 is a sight to behold. I've always enjoyed flying it and they'll truly be missed.

Haha gloves are always a good investment, especially in these times.
The 747 was being towed to it's spot when the tow truck broke hence she's at the A319 stop marking

I think there’s only few people who didn’t appreciate Air India’s ‘Palace in the Sky’ livery, particularly on the 747. This is one great model, highly detailed (also the printing) and perfect finish.

Ah yes! I see it. Maybe a little lighter would’ve done the trick. Good observation

Thank you. It’s only a matter of time before the 747-400s of AI retire too, so it’s nice to see these models on shelves in pristine condition as a fond memory.

‘Absolutely gorgeous’ as you said! The era you took me back to was Heathrow in the late 1980s...
