Default Smooth as Silk a THAI 747-3D7

By Inflight200 a very late Boeing 747-300 series fitted with a 747-400 wing root faring and without the winglet of course. MSN 23721 with high density seating I believe it was 490 seats.

SKU # IF743TG0820

Registration HS-TGD

Aircraft's name " SUCHADA "

But I wonder why the 400 WBF?
The only "747-400D lookalike" -300s went to Air India, Thai's TGD had the 400's CF6-80, but the "classic" fairing.
Still a nice model, the cockpit withstanding.

Nicephoto's as always Steve so this is a Thai Airways International B747-3D7, with a B747-400D Wing or something, talk about confinements, damn.

And seeing CF6-80C2's on a 300 makes it even more odd.

Nice addition tho

I don't know either why Inflight chose to put a 747-400D wing on this 747-300 air frame. Could be someone at the Inflight200 took the nail clippers home to do their nails and did'nt bring them back. They would have been better off using their 747-100 -200 wing and clipping the wing antenna. It's been done before. Anyhow it's still a nice model, in my view.
