Well as the title says, this is another classic I have been looking for, and another win of Ebay, witch at present I have been doing quite well at winning, though I thought I would not win this one being a real gem, but nether the less got it for a good price, the model is made by Inflight for ARD and is the classic B747-100 in the AER LINGUS delivery livery EI-ASJ, as old as this model is it looks brand new this will now join the rest of my fleet in this livery.
I was watching this item too, I usually bid right at the last minute but I forgot on this occasion, so you were lucky or you would have definately have had to pay more to win it.
Any chance of a picture of your Aer Lingus fleet in this scheme? Airline fleet shots always impress.

Great looking model. Congratulations. Was watching this too, but missed the auction ending. Just received EI-BED in the stunning green shamrock livery. Absolutely Love The 747 Classic.
Hell yea bro, that's an Irish Aer Lingus B747-148 very nice find my friend!
I too am looking for one of these but then the one with In Service With the East African lgo on it, but it does sport the same livery as the one you have here.
Here a photo I kept of the one I meant:
But glad that you were able to find your sample there man, it was their best livery as well imo.

Hi Wardair, Taken this shot of the fleet so far, not perfect but you can see what I have, note the Viscount in the for front is a custom made model, using the HERPA
mould another one I picked up of EBAY.

Great looking classic Aer Lingus fleet Steve.
To me these classics stand out to any modern collection.

Hi Maarlandair, to be honest with you I really prefer the old livery's, some of the new ones eventually grow on you, but there all more or less the same now with slight differences.

So true Steve.
The lack of a cheatline (and maybe a polisehd belly) nowadays has made liveries less creative and appealing i.m.o.
