Default Holy Grail arrived recently... UA Sual Bass 727

This arrived recently... (Thanks to a very generous Canadian)

As most of you know, I am a United nut and this one has pretty significant emotional value. It was the first and only time I flew on this livery. Here is a picture of her and her new home.

It was very excited to finally get this one...

Real tomato ketchup Eddie?
Nothing but the best! "I don't know why they call this stuff hamburger helper. It does just fine by itself, huh? I like it better than tuna helper myself, don't you, Clark?"
"you're the gourmet around here, Ed!"

What a stunning United collection. It is a nice feeling when you suddenly find your Holy grail, the one model that youve been looking for for ages. Found me a UTA DC10 after quite some time and love it!

Congratulations! This is one that needs to be re-released, along with PSA, Eastern, and Delta (widget). Do you plan to add the Saul Bass B727-1 to your collection, too?

Thanks everyone for comments.... Unfortunately I never flew on the 100 series so it wouldn't fit my criteria.

Nice catch there, always nice to see someone find a model they been hunting for a long time, yet personally I am not really a fan of the Soul Bass livery, but okay personalities may differ, even though if I'd choose a favorite Soul Bass Livery Continental's Version of it sure does it best with the black meatball in the tailfin.
Which is this one:

Yet the Battleship gray livery does me more class and pride to see if I have to be honest, I see you have a few on those as well,, the United's I have are these two as a friend of mine, ex-Captain Ed Mitchell flew these two for the 21 years of service he served for UAL:

UAL B747-123 N154UA
UAL B747-422 N178UA

Both from JC Wings:

Wold be nice to see a closeup of your Battleship Greys

I love the continental livery. The 727-200 Jet-x version is the second and last of the Holy Grails.

Here are some close ups of the battleship fleet.... I notice that it is time to dust.

That's lovely man the COL B747-124 I have is one I Bought via Johan Chan himself it's a pre-production model 1 of 10pcs made, it came in a white box as well and yes I still have that box too just love the metalic gold paint it has it really does well with the black meatball logo in it's center.
that COL B747-124 Pre-Production Sample and my NAL B747-135 are probably two of my Holy Grails I do have a few more, but yea B747's only for me

They look cool together as well:

Nice Battleships there man, just the IF B747SP-21 that is missing out, the N145UA that would be

I'm searching for that one. There was one available a few months ago in one of the FB groups, but their asking price was so asinine I had to pass. Even after I told him one sold recently on ebay for less than half he was looking for, got no response.
