Ignore the autocorrected “TVA” in the subject line. That should clearly be TCA.
Here’s one that will instantly be hot for whoever gets to it first! From Air Canada’s social media today:
Fresh from the Airbus paint shop in Mirabel, our brand new #A220-300 proudly recognizes our heritage with a special Trans-Canada Air Lines (TCA) livery. It will soon join our fleet in the sky, stay tuned!

I think the A220 looks better in the livery than the previous retro A319 that they did. Would like to see the first Air Canada livery on one of their planes.

I have seen mock-ups of two classic Air Canada liveries as well as CP, Canadian, PWA, and Wardair liveries on the A220 (with the Air Canada logo at the front like this TCA bird). I’d love to see them all, but Air Canada’s a little precious about their branding and will never recognize that all of those airlines, for better or for worse, helped mold them into what they are today.

Well, at least the A319 had a better (albeit still wrong) silver basic colour than the A220's dark grey. None of them looks like the bare metal TCA original, though.
Not familiar with TCA. Why is there a BOAC Speedbird in the tail logo?
I believe it’s actually the other way around. TCA predates BOAC by two years. Trans-Canada Air Lines was founded in 1937 and that has been their logo since at least 1939, if not since their inception.

Pretty difficult to do bare metal on a composite fuselage.
Can't wait for the 1/200 version. At least for me, I think the A220 and the C919 are the 2 of the best-looking single-aisle twins out there in 1:1 or 1/200. Their almost proportionate engine to fuselage esthetics makes them look like miniature 777s. The puny engines of the 737NGs up to the Max just do not it for me especially if shrunk to a 1/200 or smaller scale.
