This is Gill Airways ATR 72-200 in 1/200 scale and it’s crying out for a pair of four bladed props. The JC Wings donor was fitted with 6 blades. As you can see I improvised for the photos by making some “spinners”
So if anyone can help I’d be very grateful. I’d like to return the model to its owner in correct spec.
What a coincidence. I’m looking for exactly the same thing. The only donor 1/200 ATR 72’s I can find are the later generation 6 bladed propellor. I want a LOT polish airlines Liveried ATR and of course they operated the earlier generation with 4 bladed propellers.
Is it just me or am I the only one who thinks those spinners look great? I think it would be cool to have that option on all propeller models especially when placed on a stand.

Real tomato ketchup Eddie?
Nothing but the best! "I don't know why they call this stuff hamburger helper. It does just fine by itself, huh? I like it better than tuna helper myself, don't you, Clark?"
"you're the gourmet around here, Ed!"

Was thinking the same thing! Would be an awesome option, along with semi-retracted landing gear!!

Nice to see the Gill come to fruition.
JC Wings have never done a 4 bladed ATR. Herpa did their last 4 bladed ATR42 in 2010. And the last ATR72 in 2012. Having since
resumed releases with the later prop. Gemini did both the Air North ATR42 commission & an ATR72 in 2016 so the 4 bladed props
were still around then. I believe the Gemini is the Herpa model much like their Saab 340.
You may well have to get an old 4 blade ATR, swap props and then use it as a donor for another one?

I'm a 1:400 guy who doesn't often cross over to the west side of town, but I totally agree on these spinners - very sharp and nice work. A perfect alternative, Doug
