Look at the position of the emergency exit over the wings ...
That's what is wrong on the Inflight model.

If Gemini cannot make an AF version, let's hope that JC Wings will make it.

The difference is roughly 1-2mm.

Corgi did it on their Britannia and then JC Wings on their Genair Short 330 & 360.

Is that BCal A310 cheatline gold?

Aeroflot is not bad at all, I would even say that it is a good model but I prefer to ignore the Air France version.

there are JC Wings Blank A310 with GE Engines available at now. the windows looks good

I don't know, Jean-Pierre, to me THIS one doesn't look that bad either.
Also the Inflights fuselage behind the wings looks better proportioned.

It would be the solution, but ...

I have spent many weeks and in fact a few months making custom models of my Latécoère 521 and 522.
I really enjoyed.

Why should I spend time to do something that Inflight is unable to do or not willing to do ?

I have the NWA on order. I wanted to add one flaps down model to my collection, assuming I could make the room, so when this was announced I jumped on pre-ordering one. Looking forward to its arrival in the next few weeks.

I was a little startled by the picture too but honestly after hitting up images.google.com for British Caledonian A310 I have to say that it does appear that they seem to consistently have more of a gold than yellow tone as compared to BCal DC-10s and 747s.

No the original was definately NOT GOLD.

I received my BCAL A310 on Saturday with pictures to follow later.
It is my first Gemini A310 and it's a fabulous model.
On the down side it does appear that the yellow/gold colouring is incorrect.
It is more of just a gold colour. On the real BCAL aircraft,whilst it's true that in certain lighting conditions and in different photographs, it does indeed look gold, I think Gemini has missed the boat on the colour.
That said I still love the model and it completes my modern day British Caledonian fleet and also brings back many happy memories. I may have to purchase the Inflight200 version as well.
As a child I have many happy memories of BCAL and although I never flew with them, the staff at Gatwick and at head office were always so lovely and accommodating, regarding my requests for information and brochures etc. I was fortunate enough to work for Caledonian airways formed after BA's purchase of BCAL. It was the best time of my flying career and although largely a charter airline, we gave BA a run for their money with our Highland first product.

Got the fat albert and c37. fat albert rear cargo door and forward door can be opened. Great feature

C37 not bad. another nice addition to my 1/200 AF1 collection
