Default Models with same reg. # and opinion on Herpa 787

Not sure how to pose this question. Do any of you own models with the same registration and same livery either purposely or by coincidence? Why I ask.. In May, I flew ORD-LHR on BA 787-9 reg. no. G-ZBKA. There were six models produced of it in various scales. I just bought a Hogan of it, but I've just found a Phoenix 1:200 version. Not sure how I feel about Phoenix. The only Phoenix models I've owned were 737s and 727s from years ago. From what I've read on their 787: windows are too light of grey; fixed landing gear; wings sweep up a bit too much. I'd prefer GJ but I'm not gonna pay over $220 for one and my attempt to find a reasonably priced GJ in June of this year was unsuccessful. In a way, I feel I'm being wasteful by buying two models with the same reg. no.

Also, what are your thoughts on Herpa's 787-9? I realise it's not diecast metal, but again, they produced a model of an aircraft I've flown on. I've tried doing a site search but couldn't find a thread on the subject.

And finally, GJ would you please produce a flaps-down model of a Virgin 787 with reg. no. G-VOOH, G-VZIG, G-VBEL, or G-VFAN? Ta muchly.

Wow, that's nice! It almost looks like a diecast. I also like the moulded-in rain gutters over the doors; something that can't be done with diecast. I remember Herpa Premium models have that detail, too.

I've had a couple double registrations in the past, but they were different liveries (Virgin Atlantic). The Phnx is at EZ.

I have a couple Air Canada duplicates made by different companies. I buy all Canadian aircraft regardless that get released so some duplicates wind up in the aerodrome.

I may pull the trigger on a Phoenix. We'll see how I feel about the Hogan when I receive it.

I did, however, buy the Herpa 787 model that I was considering.
