Default QANTAS LAST 747 by Inflight200

SKU:- QANTAS-LAST-747

A nice model and display stand. The coin is half baked. While it's nice on one side and full inflight photo of the aircraft after take off and the other side of the coin, the rego and final flight path, inflight failed to give a coin with the full roo outline of the final flight path. With that said, it's still a great representation of OEJ, of which this model now becomes my 5th copy of OEJ. A well represented Qantas 747-438ER model. Thank you Inflight for this edition

Beautiful 747! Big, majestic and elegant, a true queen of the skies, that served its country with total excellence.

Great addition to your already impressive Qantas fleet, the end of an era, so indeed a must have. These coins we see appear more and more don't really rock my boat to be honnest.

To be honest the coins don't really rock my boat either, it's just a nice little something extra with the model. One thing I will say is what my late father told me as a young boy. "Do every thing properly or don't bother at all. Measure twice cut once". When it comes to tail side of this coin, it's missing 60% or more key elements of the flight path. Inflight could have just put a smiley face on the other side would have worked just as well. The date and the flight number and rego and the aircraft's name are correct and that's a plus.

Would be nice if Inflight would make available corrected coins. And include a nice stand for the coin as you have added.

Smile Re: QANTAS LAST 747 by Inflight200

Yes, I think this because I have both releases of the Rio Olympic release (IF200 and JCWINGS)…

This bird was always special for me as when I started to work at FRA my office had a spectacular view on the apron and runways

And each morning my first view down was to see if the QANTAS B747 was still there or if it was already pushed back to its parking position (they arrived very early around 6am and left very late around 11pm).

Sometimes I had luck and could made nice Pictures

And last year I was very lucky to catch her in JBN on my flight back from Australia to FRA

First beside our gate and then during her departure she was just in front of us where I could also made a video from her heading down the runway because I was sitting in business and we entered the runway directly behind her

PS: I love the coin as I was live following the fight on flightradar and was wondering what they are doing there...

Beautiful model but cannot comprehend how can they release something halfway done!! The kangaroo flight path is so iconic. That coin is a travesty...

Wow, forget all about that, the QF flight path. That would have been a reason to collect a nicely made coin. Quality control is everything

Still a very nice model of the last 747 from Qantas. Really looking forward to this model. The Hogan version can leave the fleet.

Ok coins are not important and you are right lets remember what the main focus is here and what we are buying and your right, it is the models. The model is great. Inflight bonus coin is great and I found several images google where the lighter blue top half is not picked up when reduced to that size and that must be what image they used and that is that. It's a great idea from inflight to use the final flight path and we can leave it at that.
Also a heads up for you wanting the model. If you want this model and have not pre ordered it. It is sold out from the factory. Your preferred Inflight stockist is your next option, or your hobby store. Good luck.

@ Stillair. Martin on the 22nd of July I took the day of work and drove down to the Illawara airport where HARS is and VH-OJA is based

They are crappy photos sorry

Hey nice catch man, got OEJ as well but from JC Wings with the 2016 Rio Olympic Livery for the Australian Olympic Team

Still my favored version of this model as for Wunala Dreaming , VH-OJB wins for that livery the one with the painted Rolls Royce RB211-524c's, so to get VH-OEJ in the 2016 Olympic colors made more sense for me
Anyways there ya go and hey I know you only collect Australian Airliners and hey if you find more, no reason leave them them, just go for everything you can find.

As my my B747 Collection well I do have something happening in 4 days, but that is for an other time
