Default Tartan Tails

A pair of Loganair’s, both of which are currently in service. An ATR 42 and an ERJ 145.

Great renditions of the airline that got me interested in aviation.

Those do look nice, I thought this thread was going to be about the old BA Benyhone Tartan tails from years back.

Thanks for all your kind comments.
I’m thinking of creating a Loganair Saab 340, but which one? Any one have a preference.

Second one please, but for a better comfort, you will have to disassemble the stabilizer ...

I agree with Jean Pierre, definitely the second one.
The first one looks unfinished in comparison, it would also match the ATR and RJ above.
Of course #1 would be easier though.

Amazing customs!! Can't wait for the day Gemini or another company starts making these!!

I work for Loganair and got a little too excited when I seen them!

For the 340, it has to be the second one. The first one was a 12 month wet lease when we operated from CAX, so it was never really felt part of the team.

Fun fact, the first 340 painted in the new livery was GLGNN and the engine cowls were all red. When it arrived at the hanger we all thought the same, it looks like a search and rescue aircraft Lol When GLGNK became the second one to be painted, we got the bottom of the cowls painted black. Which harks back to the original liveries when we used to land on airfields that dirt strips. The reason it was back was due to how much dirt they picked up, so it would hide the 'dirty areas'

Have you put the Loganair titles on the bellies?

The Loganair ATR has titles on the belly but the ERJ does not.
I’m still trying to find out if the Saab has them.
