congrats, inflight, nice models!
Hope, printing the cheat line of a model being for 15 years in production in the right position, is not the reference...

Still, I would like to buy more Inflight-747, if the wing root would not be in that old fashioned rough way! Please make this better as soon as possible!

For me it is, as the misprinted cheatline always was the reason for me not to get an IF200 741/2/3/4.
So thumbs up on this move forward!

You know that you are absolutely correct. Inflight are smashing out 747's to recoup new tooling cost. (hopefully their 747 series to replace what you are talking about) In fact if you where to look at the ratio of Inflight200 747's versus JCW's you would be blown away with the stats. JCW's and GJ tooling much better. Thank you for posting this thread EC,I am a contributor to Inflight200 get new tooling program as I have already ordered the Air India and Air New Zealand. The Qantas one I have from the first release.

It's highly of time that IF200 steps away from the cradle mounting method of the wings in to the method that JC Wings uses or how IF200 does for their B747SP's.
This is the one thing they really should change and step away from, just to leave this horrid cradle method in the past.

All alongside that these models do add a nice archive to all the B747 models made over the recent years.
the Aer Lingus B747-148, Asiana B747-48E, Air New-Zealand B747-419 & QANTAS B747-238B would be my favorites of this set.

Strange that I never had an issue with how IF200 did the labeling, weren't they always printed on the models like other brands would apply them?

Very nice classic Jumbo's! Qantas and Pan Am should land here next week. As for the mold, it doesn't disturb me that much. When the model is in the cabinet, it is hardly noticeble (IMO). Without Inflight there would be far less of these wonderful classic Jumbo's...

Just wish InFlight would do a little better research on PW4000s;nacelle is (now) correct, but exhaust cone is more than just rotating a CF6 one...

+1 for the wing root, I have the Air France Cargo B744F F-GIUA (by JC Wings on IF mold ) , the center tank is yellow-ish (not white) and the entire center tank/wing section detaches easily (missing some glue..)

Not buying any more IF200 B747's because of the wing root either though there would be some nice AF 747s I'd need ..

I avoid the IF200 747's except the SP series, since they don't have the wing mounting issue. It's unfortunate they have no fixed this (yet they were able to makes changes after criticism to their A330/A340, A310 series).

I agree IF does a lot of classic/cool 747's, but at the end of the day the wing joint is hard to ignore, especially at the price!
