Hello Martin,
I have this model but never posted it on here. The photo's below are old photos when I received the model. It is still in it's original long term storage Mojave Box, until next year! New display cabinets are coming in 2021.

The model is very nice and these huge power plants which must have pushed the original aircraft along very nicely. If you can get one it is highly recommended. It comes with a stand to (old style). It is a beauty

DC-8-72 always looked like such a "hot rod' with the shorter fuselage and big engines...

Nice model! Thanks for sharing. I wish inflight would make a less clunky stand that is clear for the releases without stand holes!

WOW!! What a gorgeous model. Those huge engines make it look so tough! Also the fact that it is NASA...I'm going to be on the hunt for this one now, lol

Martin, I purchased this model last fall on eBay and it came out of France of all places and a decent price too...

Real tomato ketchup Eddie?
Nothing but the best! "I don't know why they call this stuff hamburger helper. It does just fine by itself, huh? I like it better than tuna helper myself, don't you, Clark?"
"you're the gourmet around here, Ed!"

I too had this model since last fall. It's only now after looking at the pics that I realized how pretty and detailed this model is. Thanks!

Unhappy Re: If200 dc-8 nasa

I found this model in a store in Germany and posted this thread.

Now - as I want to order it - it is sold-out since yesterday (may be someone from this forum was faster than myself)

No Martin I don't think so. I think the store's inventory must have been wrong in the first place. Where you sure it was in stock? I can say that I didn't order on pre release notification of this release. I decided to order three weeks after and the result was "sold out" from the factory. I then was lucky enough I feel, because I was close to the release date of securing one from the Inflight200 distributor here in Australia (CAMS). This could be a re release on a new stand anyhow.
