Default Replacement Boxes

The lady of the house thought it upon herself to "clear some space" and tossed 8 Gemini 200 boxes. Any idea where to get replacements, even if just generic?

Sounds like eight of her pieces must go. Make 16 since were probably talking shoes here.

Hi, I have a spare Gemini200 box that was formerly used for the 1:200 AA MD-80. Would that work?

Don't know if this would help, but try contacting a retailer. They might have some boxes left over from somewhere.

Good luck

You may do it with a bit of craftemenship, You can order foam and custom boxes. Try it with one box, before going ahead.

Replacement boxes are available, but are quite pricey, they come with a free model too which is bonus.

I know that some here throw away their boxes due to lack of space. Maybe that's a way to get some boxes. ..

Apart from Turbochop's wife, who would think of throwing away their model boxes, surely that devalues your models.

That's true, but if you don't have enough space then you have to. Bought several 2nd hand models with no box for small prices

It sounds to me there could be a market for those boxes, so those that need space and dispose of the model boxes try selling them, that would help bridge the gap on the value reduction of the model when it gets separated from its box.

Hopefully the boxes are from models you would never part of anyway. Just delete her phone. She then will understand sort of what you feel about loosing those boxes. If you do not delete her phone she will still think you are a whiner about the boxes as she does not understand why it is such an issue...

Perhaps see if you can find a box maker on Etsy (there is a market for replacement boxes for toys and video games) who might see a market...
