Thumbs up 1:200 JC Wings Boeing B737-500 Aer Lingus (XX2364)

Hello everyone,

Arrived today is the fourth (4) model of the seven, my wife bought for me.

This is the Boeing B737-500 in the classical '90's Aer Lingus livery (Reg: EI-CDE).
Model number XX2364.

In my opinion, JC Wings did an excellent job on this release. This is a very nice representation of the baby Boeing 735.
This model is small, only 15.3cm in length, but it has a lot of details. A classic looking model...very colorful livery, all metal (no plastic components), fixed undercarriage, with lots of details and features. I let the pictures speak for themselves.

My wife really likes the colorful birds

On approach - Arriving soon:
JC Wings Boeing B767-300ER EL AL (XX2286)
JC Wings Fokker F-50 SAS Commuter (XX2052)
Inflight200 Boeing B747SP United Airlines (IF747SPUA1019)

Looks great! I had a feeling JC was going to do very well with this release. Picture 7 is really nice angle, especially with that livery. You got yourself a great model, thanks for sharing with us. I hope JC continues to make great releases with this mould.

Thanks mate...the model is really nice...I forgot how small the 737-500 series were...It's super detailed for a small size airplane...
It is a great mould and a lot of airlines that operated the airplane, throughout the years.

JC could release all of its past & present operators (ANA, Air Baltic, Air North, Continental, Lufthansa, Malev, Nordavia, Pulkovo, Skyservice, Southwest, Tunis Air, United Airlines, UIA, UTAir...etc).
So many operators, of this baby Boeing version!. Plenty release opportunities for JC Wings...

I just received mine too, whilst JCwings have done a great job with this model I was disappointed that the colours were not consistant with Inflight200 who have done the rest of the aircraft in the fleet that wore this scheme. That said I think Inflight got the colours a little too dark.

What a beautiful lovely green aircraft. And what a nice livery it was! Too bad they joined the Eurowhite Club...

Yes, before the airline liveries were much nicer, more inviting, now they look lifeless, plain and dull...

Looking at that livery you realize how bad Air Lingus' livery got over the years. Step by step to the bottom.

I couldn't agree more, this iconic green scheme was symbolic of Ireland and that has now gradually been lost with this current bland IAG scheme. It would not surprise me if BA even end up with a slice of' Union Jack' on the tail of an 'all white' scheme like IBERIA & Aer Lingus, American isn't far off albeit grey.

Nice. Something not quite right with blue cheatline above cockpit. Is the stand a bit oversized?

I thought the same when I fist viewed it, but after doing a google search of Aer Lingus 737-500, see link below, the JCwings model is spot-on.
