Default Real vs model + If200 nwa a319

I had made a trip to MZJ back in July in hopes to see the NWA 747 they had in the yard. Unfortunately only the cockpit and part of the aft fuselage are left as they had to make (a ton of) room for new storage. While I was there I got some pics of ex-NWA 747 in Delta colours. I realized I had the models of some of em and did comparison shots of sorts. I had posted this to the 1/200 airport makers group on FB, so some of you may be seeing these again For those interested, you can see my other MZJ pics here

But lastly, this beauty finally arrived today. Ft my custom i did about a year or two ago (with some tape and glue as the hstab snapped off lmao) . I love how it has the gear up option !! It's a lovely addition to my ever-growing bowling shoe set. There is a huge difference in weight between IF and GJ.The main gear is also thinner than the GJ A319 which is nicer. I would like to eventually get the UA new colour a319 + 20 to replace the GJ version. Although, you can never have too many A319 Hoping I can get started on my next custom soon since I recently got decals for it

My copy of this little beauty arrives on Wednesday. Was fortunate to find one as most are sold out but Diecast Airplane had it still (not anymore). Without a doubt the NWA Bowling Shoe is a great livery and one of my favorites.

Nice, you must have ordered right around when I did last weekend. I received my copy on Thursday. The Bowling shoe is my top choice for NW liveries.

Hey Stella are you still flying out of VAY?

I managed to find mind locally thankfully ! It's a super nice model, I'm glad one was finally produced.

Nope, I left last year bc the club shut down out of the blue and they still owe me $350 for block hours I never used. I'm based out of MPO now

I was really happy to see this one too, reminds me of my days flying Continental when they were 'in league' with NW and they gave reciprocal first class upgrades. So, needless to say, this model filled a big hole in my "flown on" list.
