not sure why they stick with the a330-200 for head of state transport. the a350 wouldve been better.

Because we already have a fleet of A330 MRTTs, once or which was already fitted for VIP Ops. They just gave it a new paint job because poor old Boris got upset about flying around in a grey airplane, infact I think I’ve seen via the RAFs social media that this jet had been used more for AAR on QRA shouts than its main purpose of VIP Transport since it was repainted 😅

Don't care about Boris, but all major developed countries have their shiny head of state livery. A dull military paintjob is not dignified to -a still- political world power.

I agree. This was a good move for the UK. Makes them stand out! Something for your country to be proud of as it's traveling the globe. Look at Air Force One...internationally known. Germany has it's own A350.

they should've gone with A350. A330-200 looks tiny next to USA 747

Maybe they should ve one up by going with the A380. lol
