Nice collection you have on display! as much as i love the McDonnell Douglas MD-11, my all time favorite wide body trijet is still the DC-10 and speaking of the L-1011, i never had the change to fly on one back in the day..

...that one day I will see many more colorful JC Wings MD-11 models and the long-awaited Gemini 200 TWA twin stripes 727-200!
I always fly America's favorite airline: Southwest Airlines and the World's oldest KLM!
Pariswas the greatest city on earth! Vive la France! Tokyo 2020!
Wow, you've got the Yak42! Envy you for that one! The Yak42 is much harder to get than the HS Trident. Very nice collection!
The Yak42 is a custom built. It has nice details (IMO better than any mass produced model). Here are some pictures of her. Sorry for the poor quality mobile phone pictures

That is one great model. Maybe Herpa comes out with that mould - someday.

Indeed, it is a good looking airplane.
I do not understand why the mainstream manufactures do not produce more Soviet/Russian/Ukrainian models in 1:200. Would be nice to add variety to our collections. An-22 and Tu-114 would be nice and good sellers IMO. At least Herpa will do IL-18 and IL-62 (next year?)
Sharing this picture of my Trijets.
Still looking for a HS Trident to add to my collection.
Nice collection with a straightforward theme. We are long overdue for a decent Trident, but I suspect that the number of collectors who would want one is too small for the larger manufacturers to consider.
Yes I recently decided to obtain at least one of each type of airliner in 1:200, and the Trident is proving difficult. ARD has a few - I might pull the trigger on the Negus one but I'd really rather have a BEA Speedjack I think (the one they have right now in that livery has British Airways titles).

My holy grails:
Sun Country 727-200 late 1990's colors
Yamal & Interjet SSJ-100
Kenya Airways 737-800 New colors
Alrosa Tu-154 latest colors / Tu-134 old colors
Nice Yak-42 aircraft model, but the scale is not 1:200, when compared wit Tu-154, maybe 1:180.
Modestos
Hi,
The model is really nice.
I did some measurements of the model using a ruler and it is quite close to true 1:200.
Maybe the camera angle make it appears bigger

The L-1011 was quite the plane. I was lucky to fly on them back in the day.
One Delta L-1011 flight to Florida the whole First Class was taken by ex-President Jimmy Carter. He was doing a book signing tour for his new fishing book. While we were waiting to push back, the Secret Service escorted him back to meet the passengers. A lady behind me with two young daughters asked if she could get a picture with him. While she was getting her camera ready, Carter made some small talk to the little girls, asking their names. After they gave their names, he said “ Nice to meet you. My name is Jimmy”. Very unpretentious guy I thought.
Those TriStars were noisy coffee grinders on start up...and the smoke they belched had you running for the fire extinguishers until you had been around them a couple of times. Delta occupied the adjacent gates to the AA gates at ORD and I really dreaded simultaneous push backs in the shared alley between the T3 K & L gates. The cockpit had a hard time understanding the com link with the pushout tractor when those RR got lit
