Hello everyone. I'm looking to buy the 1:200 scale Westjet 787-9 and it has been made by both Gemini and IF200 and still available basically everywhere. I have only ever owned a Phoenix 787-9 1/200 mould, so I wanted peoples opinions on who collects Gemini or IF200 787-9, or someone who is also an expert on the Westjet releases to help me out? Which one should I get, advantages or disadvantages?

The engines definitely look much more accurate on the Gemini release to me.

I prefer the nose shape and main landing gear on IF200 787's. The JC/GJ main gear looks like it's wearing "highwaters" - check out this thread for pics:

Quite a dillema, I got an advantage of both. Tied decision. This will be a tough one. Any more thoughts from any 1:200 collectors?

This topic has been discussed many times. Back in late 2018 Baerke posted some excellent photos of the IF, GJ/JC, Pheonix and Hogan moulds. Since I was only interested in IF or GJ/JC, I highlighted the differences that I could find between the two. I felt it was best to just list the differences, and let the collector make their own decision. Take a look, decide for yourself and do a search for other comparison threads if you want.
Note that this was just shy of two years ago, I don't know if there has been any changes made since then.

Both are fine,

For me I would chose the Inflight (ever so slightly better). Only the main gear rubber tires are to small on the Inflight.
