Re: What about some non-N- registered 727s, Gemini
I agree with you.
I support seeing a Lloyd Aereo Boliviano (LAB) Boeing 727-200 Adv. or 727-100 and AeroSur Boeing 727-200.
Also an Aeroperú 727-200 would be great.
Yes we all know El Aviador Modelos have plans to release some of these models but they use Inflight's 727 mold and that is not accurate. Don't really like the oversized landing gears and some other details including nose shape.
I really prefer Jc/Gemini mold. I think is way better.
Simple question why no classic 727s from outside the US? ,
- Silent agreement with IF200 not to produce any classic 727 from across the pond? Inflight would have a hard time selling off their models on a substandard mould. But why do JCW and GJ200 do cover all the contemporary stuff from IF and vice versa....You could call it the Copycalypse....
I understand where you're coming from, when you say GJ is serving a special market, but on the other hand they're distributing their models worldwide - so the market is THE WORLD. They could sell the N- models at Walmart or wherever they are sold but ignoring the worldwide market cannot be the soloution. For what reason GJ releases a Dan-Air 722 in 1/400 and not in 1/200? . I try to understand it, come on, Crownvic, enlighten my world of darkness. Gemini could easlily cover the latin classics of Inflight (or whoever the manufacturers is using the mould for that range) os offereing now and would sell them off within one or two months.
What is the difficulty to distribute european models solely via shops like ARD or Aviationmegastore or AviatonCenterBerlin? It would be an improvement btw as these shops always have too few of the popular models (all manufacturers). Especially AviationCenterBerlin.

A Lufthansa 727-200 would be awesome from Gemini. But a lufthansa licence must be bought then I believe.

There is two thing wrong with post
(1) Gemini jets don't own 727 moulds as far as I know and
(2) this is how you contact Gemini jets minimum runs apply as they should.

You know the reason why I raised this up (once again) I wanted to generate some public interest, but there is a feeling growing inside of me that I am the only one with this opinion. And we have a so-to-say spokesperson of Gemini here, whom I thought of would share, as a kind of an insight to the GJ philosophy, why this company is so much focused on the US market on one hand whereas they are not in 1/400.
I asked Gemini 5 or 6 years ago for a JAT o/c 727,....well ok, Crownvic said, that will never gonna happen...But GJ themselves never answered to that request - a simple yes or no would've been sufficient. But nothing. I do not expect much empathy of a manufacturer as this hobby is pure business for most of them, but the minimum of politeness is to answer an E-mail at all, because their profit is our income. And when you give a hint how to generate more money out of a mould,
for a minimum effort - minimum because they do not have to develop a new mould. - - what is the logic behind ignoring these hints?

JCW tooling all the above request are worth doing! Not enough 727's come out these days but the Avianca AeroSur one could be released EC by GJ200 they have done those carriers before. Love the TAME ones too very nice
