Default Rare models?

Found these in a local shop here in HK. Some of those are very rare I believe. They are not of airlines I collect so I dont really know their value. I thought that maybe they might be of interest for a few fellow DAC members. If anyone is interested, I could put you in touch with the seller, or work as an intermediate (for free of course). The only I was interested in is the CX JCWings VR-HOO which was at 350 USD so I'm still not decided. Is it a "ok" price considering the rarity of this model? Any idea of these models' prices on the market? Let me know if you want to contact the guy.

There's a JAL 50th on eBay now for $419 but the fact it hasn't sold tells me collectors aren't yet willing to pay that. Two Disney Sea 747s have recently sold for $210 and $240, respectively. Some nice models, for sure!

Thanks Robert, I have these, I was looking for the Aviation 200 AV2744002 JAL 747-400 50th anniversary. I should have been more specific! I forgot the Disney themed ones were also 50th Anniversary!

The Nalanji Dreaming and Wunala Dreaming Qantas liveries will generally sell down here in Australia for $250-315 AUD on a good day and 350-400 AUD on a bad one.

Hope this helps!

For anyone interested or subscribed to this thread, airplanereplicas.com still has the JC 1:200 Wunala 2 VH-OEJ for sale for just under $200 USD if im not mistaken. Pretty decent price considering the reg now shares the final Qantas 747 reg too. First come first serve good luck to anyone who wanted it for a decent price

I'll have to agree with you. Every time I asked him a price it was minimum 2500 HKD. Too expensive !

This one seems a way better option. Thank you for the info, I didn't know that website.

Seems the small, less known retailers get forgotten about when searching for rare, sold out models.
Can't tell you how many times these small retailers have saved my a$$ when searching for my holy grails!

Hey nice little goldmine ya found there and yeah that are some very rare birds all in one spot, even being Boeing 747's for the most of it, I'd be mind blown for sure!

Four of those I have in my collection, and gladly bought them from Arcunia & Diecast Trading here in the Netherlands last year

That be these guys:

Boeing 747-481D
All Nippon Airways "Pokemon Pocket Monsters Livery (Jan 1999 - Feb 2006)"
JA8964
Scale 1:200
J-Fox Models

Boeing 747-338
QANTAS Australia "Nalanji Dreaming"
VH-EBU "City of Warrnambool"
Scale 1:200
JC Wings

Boeing 747-438
QANTAS Australia "Wunala Dreaming 01"
VH-OJB "City of Sydney"
Scale 1:200
JC Wings

Boeing 747-312 (ex-SG B747-312)
South African Airways "Atlanta Olympic '96 & Nelson Mandela Liberation Livery 1996-2001"
ZS-SAJ "Ndizani" ️
Scale 1:200
JC Wings

Great times

As values go, ebay mostly have overpriced values tbh, Arcunia, Diecast Trading, Scale Modelshop & Aviation Megastore may have a few of these still in stock.
if so they would cost much less, 350 USD is over pirced, I paid much less for mine, the JC Wings models I got for around 150 Eur each, the J-Fox Model I got for 162 Eur, but that was really the max I paid for these.
Dai Kong Hobby would also be a good place to search for discontinued models, the owner Raymond has some great opportunities when it comes to such things as well.

Also you have a DM

The ANA B747-481D with the Pokemon Pocket Monsters art is available here at Arcunia for 157 Eur
https://www.arcunia.com/index.php?id...duct&id_lang=1

Ndizani is available here for 149 eur

No, the seller doesn't have a "physical"shop. Only on Caroussel app (davidbus).
