Brilliant. Western Models Breguet Br763 Deux-Ponts in later Air France livery.
Thought it would go nice with my early version.
This was advertised with broken/lost front wheel. I offered a not unreasonable £25.
First two pictures are as advertised on ebay
The next two pictures are how it is now, minus all its gear and bent tail.
Last picture is of the Flat Pack DVD card packet it was posted in with abit of bubblewrap round the model for protection. If that guy thinks that's good protection just hope he never has sex.
Emailed with the expected zero response. Figured not even worth pursuing.
Sorry this happened to you! I had it happen with a Western United Stratocruiser with one of the horizontal stabs from a seller in UK. I kept the model and he refunded a portion. I straightened the stab and repainted it along with the red, white, and blue chevron.
Re protection, I suspect he likes it rough and unprotected. As such, he probably has 20 kids and can't afford proper packaging!
What a fool! You would think a person collecting these kind of historic models would appreciate their value and make an effort when sending them. Not trying to solve the mistake with you is even worse.

Real tomato ketchup Eddie?
Nothing but the best! "I don't know why they call this stuff hamburger helper. It does just fine by itself, huh? I like it better than tuna helper myself, don't you, Clark?"
"you're the gourmet around here, Ed!"
As coincidence would have, I bought one a few weeks ago on eBay in near perfect condition and when it arrived the nose gear and left landing gear were broken off and the tail bent similar to yours.
The model was packed in the original Western box and foam packing but was squashed down so the white outer cardboard sleeve would fit overtop and the crushing through the mail from the UK to Canada snapped the gear and bent the tail like yours.
So even with the original box and packaging mine arrived pretty much identical to yours but with one gear still attached. I was able to repair it but not like new, the seller refunded me about half back, but whatever, it is what it is now.
I am shocked yours arrived in the condition it did actually, I received a 1/72nd scale fighter a few years ago from Russia packed like that and it was basically a jigsaw puzzle when I opened it.

Have you asked the seller how he will pack the model when reading "no box" for such a big model?
This is a new ebay member who is maybe not familiar with diecast models as being maybe only the selling relative of a (died?) collector and he was obviously thinking this "robust model" does not need much care for packaging but there are also members here collecting models for many years they will ship you also broken models as not packed properly in the blister.
That he is not answering to your messages is more reprehensible as for this he needs only a portion of basic manners.
Fortunately the tail is not broken and also the propellers arrived safely.
So you have to find only a suitable front wheel as I can see.
A different option with some work to do is to close all gear covers and put the model on a stand in flying position.
As you do not have a box for it and decals should be also renewed as I can also see it will be anyway only a very beautiful "custom model".
A Breguet model can never be a bargain (model price for an original model in good condition or refurbishing work, time and "nerves") but better to have such a Breguet model as to have no model of this rare aircraft type.
Get that model out on the window sill, get a bit of light and heat on it and that tail will bend back... In this heat I have one or two Westerns that have rather flexible surfaces...
if it had been wintertime I guess you would be looking at a set of broken tails...
Is the gear salvageable..? Time to buy that 3D printer...
These Westerns have so much character but it can be a somewhat painful process...
And the prize for worst packing goes to nichpl_60!
One I’m not so disappointed that you beat me to. Never even saw it on ebay. Your offer seems fair for it being unboxed & without nose gear.
I remember getting a Corgi Comet, my winning bid was low and the seller sent it with just brown paper on. In your case the seller accepted
your offer!
May well be best to chalk it down to experience and hope your negative feedback does the business.
Had the same thought as Agent. As keeping model, if experiencing this heatwave, put in sun and try bending the tail-planes back. You may
crack the paint at joints but seems like your only choice. The WM props are actually one of the strongest bits and have yet to see any break
off. They get bent but can be bent back easily. Are the main gear beyond repair?
With WMs’ dislike of being posted. My usual seller tried an experiment. Sending me a Viscount, packed separately from the WM box. It was
bubble wrapped, had foam chips in large box along with the red box inside. Despite all this effort, it arrived in the worst condition I've yet
seen! The seller fully refunded me and went back to the old way of doing it. As per CdnAir, there’s always the danger of landing gear breaking
but the remaining Breguet main gear didn’t stand a chance in your case.
Certainly worth still trying to do a restoration albeit a bit more than you thought.
On checking ebay, the same seller sold this as a WM Classic Breguet. At least we know where your box went. Pics show it was in a bad state.
Model is the DH Models Caravelle. It apparently sold for £92 No feedback as yet.
if it were me Steffi, if you see ant more models like this for sale and you want, ASK the seller FIRST how is going to pack it before bidding. if he describes like any above, AVOID!

Wow, that is awful packaging! The aircraft came off better than I would expect it to given how it was packaged!
I hate it when people post models packaged like that.
Aviaction, that is some bad luck and hope you get some $ back on the first one from seller. Second one, despite packaging, seems to have made it relatively unscathed other than wheel. I say after the next one you should be good to go as bad things happen in threes! So make sure you order something inexpensive and that you are on the fence about....save the fourth for your grail you've been wanting!
The only time it got nasty is when a model arrived with broken gear and a couple of other issues that I didn't think were the result of shipping and none of which were fixable. Anyway, when I sent the message to the seller, I provided photos and I gave him the benefit of the doubt and offered to pay for return shipping. He responded that he knew about it but it wasn't a big deal. When I asked him about the photos on the listing showing that the gear is clearly intact, he said they weren't his photos.
I finally just told him, "Thanks for making this so easy. You have admitted you knew about damage but failed to list and you also used stock photos, and only stock photos, of an item you listed as used which is also against eBay policy. I'm just going to file now and if you want your item back, you can pay for your own shipping."
He sent me a series of messages after that with increasing anger. His last one said, "The eBay rep on the phone says I need to stop sending you messages." I just really laughed at that one.
