The second AC F-27 for me and the second F-27 with a cockpit shaped like this -

It’s a shame the cockpit windows look like that, and there’s no excuse for it, the F27 has been around long enough (I worked as cabin crew on them very many moons ago) Is this problem due to the limitations of the tampo printing process itself? Can’t see any reason for this error otherwise.

Hmmmm..not so nice indeed. Haven't received mine yet but for 90 euroos this is not acceptable. Received a corgi warbird for lot less and it's a great model..

European Collector...sorry to see that happen to a collector. I hate when it happens and seems to happen to me on my most wanted additions from time to time. If they didn't pull paint beyond their foot print should be easy to reattach, but unless you somehow decal over the cockpit windows not much can be done. Almost looks like the plane is sad it lost its horizontal stabs!

These cockpit windows do not look spot on - not ideal, especially on the KLM-variant!
That's a pity since AC models are on the expensive side.
I have just taken a front view of my Herpa LTU F-27 (50EUR) .... windows look better IMO.

that`s a real shame....i got my Everts C-46 yesterday and that is a stunning model from AC/Western....but the F-27...for some reason i think none of the manufacturers have nailed them properly....odd because the Herpa Fokker 50 looks really nice
