Default A couple more BA 767 World Tails

Hi All,

now that JC has produced a great BA Union Flag donor model, albeit with the crest, it's time to have the 767s start catching up with the rest of my World Tail fleet. Last week it was Russia, this week is Sweden (Blomsterang/Flower Field) and South Africa (Ndeble Emmly). Both were the JC donor with V1 decals.

I just noticed that I have not removed the old reg from the gear doors or above the cockpit windows. A job for another day.

Here is the 767 fleet so far. The Chelsea Rose is a custom model from a kit by Bill-Ay.

Next up will probably be Denmark (Wings)... stay tuned..

Very nice additions.

Those V1 decals look crisp.

Adding to this thread instead of starting another.

As promised - here is Wings (Denmark) as well as one of the Delftblue Daybreak (Netherlands) variations.

Wings used V1 decals which I managed to botch and need to do a little repair work on the tail.

Delftblue used an ancient set of decals (I must have had them for a decade) which despite coating with a few extra coats of clear sealant before applying, still disintegrated.

I don't know if they were both tail sitters before I started, as I just took them out of the box and immediately removed the horizontal stabilizers, but they both are now. The Delftblue in particular will just not sit straight, hence the support in the pictures - and the natural tail strike position in the last picture.

Nice work as always!

Re tail sitting...just thinking, anyway you could remove a wing and drill into the fuselage (if there is any hollow voids) within the wing socket to add weight and reattach wing!? Also sometimes there is a void beyond wing seat in the casting where weight could be added.

WOW, I absolutely love these!! Great job on your customs, sir!! I really want to start on the world tails sets, as I really like them. The livery looks fantastic on the 767's

Great stuff. Wonder why the Delft isn't the real blue color.
