Default Inflight200 SU A310-300 picture review

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am not easy to impress some of you might think ... (YES, IF has got the most inaccurate 727 and 737 moulds possible) but, THIS is one of the best moulds Inflight ever created - at least for my understanding. It can't be done better!

Thank you Inflight, for this outstanding mould!

-Did you like the nose section?

-Are the cockpit windows in the correct position?

I thank anyone who wants to give an opinion...

I'd say its pretty close /a little crooke) I think, this make visible why the cheatline sits 1mm higher....I can live with that, and the cheatline is on an acceptable level - but my biggest concern was that they did not get the mould right as a whole. Positive surprise, so I am pretty happy with this mould/artwork, as it is no comparison to the first 310s they brought out. I will wholeheartly get more of these beauties....

Mmm OK, I can live with this mould. At least much better than some of their classic moulds.

Bring on the Interflug!

Getting better.
But Inflight still has not got the flat surfaces right on the side cockpit Windows.
Result is the cheatline is skew And the said Windows are too high And not properly angled in relation to the front wind screen.

This is actually quite nice! Just hoping the accuracy of their new F-28, whenever the heck it finally gets released, is more like this rather than their 727/737.

You know what Jean-Pierre, this one is (judged by the pics on the net and the model that i have in my collection now) the best available up-to-date imho. Sure it would be nice if the cheatline would sit that 1mm lower to make the cockpit sitting more like it should but come on. That would be like me complaining about AC200s DC-8 cheatline printing issues.

Nice catch EC. It is a nice mould. Thanks for the photo's. The landing gears are fixed or removable? Surely they are removable on new 2020 tooling.

Everything seems to be improved as good as possible. Even the engine nacelle‘s ground clearance appears to be spot on.

Now we‘ve got excellent A310s in 1/200!

As the question was raised, the undercarriage is magnetic like it is on the GJ200 models. A little minus point is, that the wheels do not turn - on the other hand it is a collectors item and not a toy.

Nice model. The windows cheat line is much better positioned, compared with the previous releases.
I’m glad you’re happy with it, it looks nice, however I think overall further improvements should be made.

Inflight200 - if you’re reading these forum threads and reviews, please consider the TAROM livery, as future release! Thanks

To be more precise, improvements can be made to the cockpit windows, to be printed straight, thicker undercarriage struts on the main gears, taxi / landing lights to the nose gear, thicker rubber tires on all the rims.

You have to note that the pic of the model in the comparison is slightly smaller, so struts and wheels are bigger when the pic depicted both 1:1.

The only real issue i see, the engines diameter is slightly too big.
