Default Does 1:200 have the same choices as 1:400?

I know I’m posting this on the 1:200 category, so I know where most of y’all’s localities lay, but I have done a lot of research on 1:400 in the past. I know 1:400 have some real awesome models. I am wanting the better details that 1:200 would give (a little worried about displaying at their size though) but do they have as much of a selection in the 1:200 size models as they do in the 1:400’s? I’m really trying to figure out what size to go and stick with.

More variety in 1/400 but 1/200 diecast hasn’t been around as long.

If you worry about size you should really think long and hard about collecting 1/200.

I just started collecting and went for 1/200 while my house and spouse is far more suitable for 1/400 or actually 1/600....

I collect mainly 1:400 and restrict 1:200 to my favorites and models that I have flown on. Although I also decided recently that I wanted at least one of each type in 1:200 as well.

The thing you have to remember is that 1:200 isn't twice as big as 1:400 - it's eight times as big, because everything is doubled in 3 dimensions. So Meneer is absolutely right, you do need to think about display space.
