Photos from Ebay.
It seems to me that IF200 lowered the printing of the cheatline; looks so much better now.Have to see more photos to be sure though.
Looks better indeed, seems that infight took notice of this problem. Hope the Sabena will be better too. Don't know if the Socatec Air france has this improvement?

It looks much better, the threshold of the over wing emergency exit looks lower.
Things seem to go in the right direction.
Jean Pierre.
Much better, indeed. Took them too long, to be honest. However, there is hope for all the forthcoming releases to be improved like the Aeroflot example. They got notice of this problem (or simply referred to the WB Models releases they have produced recently).
Good development - there’s hope.
Jean Pierre, may be there’s a chance for a more decent Air France A310 as well now.
I reccon it does sell. Was on the fence for an Air France A310 from the aviation megastore but went for the AF 747 F-GITJ instead. Now the A310 is sold out (747 aswell), so it must be a quick seller. Air France models are popular.

I just checked Aviation Megastore as well for the new IF AF models, I think they didn't just get too many.
There are still 92 models of the A310 F-GEMQ in stock at Socatec.
Maybe someone should get one so we can see how the windows actually are on the models that arrived in the Socatec store
Oh my, these look lots better! The Sabena will land here soon!!

How do you manage to know the models remaining in the SOCATEC stock ?
Jean Pierre.
Hi Jean Pierre!
Just put 200 or any other high number of models in your shopping basket and proceed to checkout.
If there're not enough models in stock, the basket will tell you that there're not enough models in stock and that the number of unavailable models will be deleted from your basket.
After that, the maximum number of available models will remain your basket.
(First time I checked there were 125 models of F-GEMQ remaining.)

Thank goodness they have sorted the Wardair before release, but the SABENA still looks a bit suspect at the overwing exit.
I am with you. The Sabena model looks much better than all the A310s released by Inflight so far; it actually reminds me of the WB Models releases which had already been improved on this particular topic. The cabin windows on Wardair and Aeroflot seem to be lowered again, this time to a level which seems to be absolutely spot on.
Nice trick as per investigating seller’s stock. Impressive, indeed.
Thank you for these pictures, Wardair and Lufthansa are great ...
When I look at these models my eyes go to the emergency exit and the verdict is immediate.
I don't know if SOCATEC has any plan to commission a new batch of A 310 but if they want to renew the stock it seems to be the right time to do something to the passenger windows of this model.
All this is certainly the result of a compromise but it is the only solution to have a model looking more accurate and presentable.
Much nicer! Curious if socatec does a 2nd run Jean Pierre! Keep us posted.

It all depends on the angle the photo was taken, the model can look from excellent (Lufthansa) to just about acceptable when we consider the consequences of the compromise to make the model better.
It is clear that with the passenger windows which are now at the right place, the threshold of the front door and the nose cone are no longer at the same level.
That's the result of a compromise ...
Clearly the mould has a problem and whatever is done, the model will never be a good one, we have to live with it or wait a Gemini or JC Wing product.
Meanwhile, the market is flooded with a model which was released too quickly and it is highly unlikely that the mould will ever be improved.
That's something we have already seen in the past.
I attach an Airbus document, just a drawing, feel free to check photos of the real aircraft if you prefer.
Please Johan Chan, an Air France A 310 before I am getting too old.

I don't want to distract the thread, but....A300B4 please!
Fully agree on a decent A300 B4, would be a great model!

After a prolonged wait the Aeroflot A313 touched down on my hub.
It arrived with the wingtip fin severely damaged on port side wing, but the seller was understandable and considerate to accept responsibility for a pre-existing condition and so, I received a significant discount, and got to keep it as is
Anyways, enough of that...
The model is absolute beautiful, even though the repair of the wingtip fin damage is a bit visible, the airplane is one of the best!
Here are some pictures for your enjoyment, which speak more words than I could say
