That is one of the most EPIC posts I have ever read on the DAC of all the years I've been a member! That is just way too funny and so right! Cheers! T7

Congrats on 'completing' your 1/200 collection. I respect and admire your collecting criteria that you can keep it to just a few models! That takes plenty of self control in this hobby. I can say that not many DAC members/collectors can keep their 1/200 collection to single digits. ! Cheers! T7

This thread just keeps getting better with the humor! To the OP, this is not meant to sidetrack your thread. Lovely tabletop display case you have there. Dusting off models is not a fun task in the hobby. By the way, I like your taste with the Etihad Boeing 777 completing your 1/200 collection; no bias coming from me. T7

Thanks for the comments everyone. Yup I am keeping it small to maintain a "clean" look as I don't want to overcrowd my display case and stress my wallet lol. I also feel that keeping a small and simple collection makes this hobby interesting for me. The hobby became boring for me a decade ago when I grew out my 1/500 collection to 50/60 planes. Buying and unboxing every plane felt the same for me back then. No charm no excitement. Now since my 1/200 collection is complete I can focus on admiring what i have

Complete? I dunno, I see room for another three or four 1:400 scale models in that case.

Very nice, this proofs that the hobby doesn't have to be expensive! Admire your collecting criteria!

I'm not sure I have seen the word "complete" used in this forum, except when someone was referred to as a "complete" tool. But that was back in the day when someone on these threads would add a picture of a guy in a movie theater eating popcorn while the fight raged all around him. Ah the days.......

Have all of the KLM 744s been made yet? Didn't think so. Collection remains "INcomplete"......

Collecting diecast models is like breathing, you will never stop as long as you live.
