Default Latest FedEx Acquisition + Collection

Recently got the last 1/200 FedEx tri-holer model I was missing (Until JCW releases the second panda version) ! I've been on the hunt for N302FE for a while and finally snagged it last week. My shelf is a little crowded, but I'm hoping to get more shelves whenever the glass cutter opens up again. I sold off all of my 1/400 to make some space. The rest have found their places on my ceiling! My smallest is a 1/600 727 and my largest is a 1/60 MD-11. It'll probably be my last 1/200 FedEx purchase until a new tri-holer comes out

Beautiful display. I enjoy seeing other peoples collections.

I noticed the TWA Hercules. I have the same model still in the box. You've inspired me to get it done.

Very comprehensive collection, you even have a Falcon 20 which was at the origin of FedEx.

Congratulations.

Very nice FedEx collection. Is the large B727 hanging up, the cardboard/paper kit from the 1980's? The company did three B727's that I know of. Delta, Federal Express, and PSA.

Did they make it in 1/200? I never had the 1/400, though I did want it at one point

It was a fun build! The props are super fragile though. I did a float test on it, it floats but not well lol

Thanks!! I eventually want to make a 1/200 version of the Falcon 20. Gotta find a 3D print model

Yep!! It was a hassle to build as it didn't come with directions, so it's a little jagged lmao

No, I don't think so, but I saw a handmade one offered at 1:92 (since you have some bigger models as well)

It's a little pricey for me, but if I ever see a used one go up I'll probably nab it

Thanks! It's enormous (and heavy). I bought it as a blank and did the decals myself, though the decals are slightly too small. The 747 is 1/144 I believe? It came with a cool base

Super cool man I have a Skyland Models UK KLM Douglas DC-10-36 that I Modded to a KC-10A Extender, just missing the refueling Boom, kind of left it as is since polyester is hard to mod well for me back then, didn't have the proper tools the right wing was also snapped off so had a hard time fixing it with a glue gun, which oddly enough did the job, the work off is bad tho, but can't blame myself there Iw as rather young when I did this around 17 or so, here's the KC-10A

Here compared with a MG-29 UB Fulcrum G from the Polish Air Force of the 303rd squadron, both are the same scale @ 1:72

And here taken from the other side showing the badly repaired right wing:

As you can see it's right wing was broken off and at my age I was around 15 a 16 when I tried to repair it and well I succeeded, but not with the right type of mending glue, it's made of polyester, but at height it looked alright.

Badly fixed right wing top:

Badly fixed right wing bottom:

A Friend's dad worked for KLM and he gifted it to me in parts I was like well I can always try, it was either throw it away or try to repair it, so I took the chance, back at the time I wish I could of done a better job at it, bad sadly not the case, it is what it is and i still have it

Face view:

Rear view:

Belly view:

But yeah as you can see I guess I did okay for back then, still have it with me here today
