Default A third flying boat in my Air France fleet

This model takes us back to the 1930s, it is a Latécoère 521, only one was built.

I know, it is a resin custom made mode but it is keeping company with all my other 1/200 AF models, most of them being die cast.

Also, flying boats and pre WWII aircraft are so rare ..., I hope I will be forgiven for that.

More in the Custom Made Models section, see AIR FRANCE Latécoère 521.

Jean Pierre.

Once again Jean Pierre you have created a stunningly beautiful model, well done!
I encourage everyone to visit the Custom Made section for more photos and the history of this early and important trans Atlantic aircraft.

Beautiful model JP! Thanks for the 1 Euro coin reference. How does one acquire this treasure?

Very nice Jean Pierre. How many flying boats did Air France operate? Know that Pan American had quite a few back in the days.

Beautiful! Any chance of seeing your entire collection? It would be a sight to behold.

Thank you.

I have already tried to take pictures of my models but the result is disappointing when the models are in the cabinet.
I attach one of them.

The best solution is to take all the models out of the cabinet, I am planning to do that for the coming days.

That is a nice shot JP of your impressive AF collection. It is also important to take them out of the cabinet for a photo shoot and a intensive clean and rotate tyres, which I have no doubt is part of your plan.

Sorry, I did not answer your question, it is a HBM resin kit, it has been at the back of a drawer for five years, I am afraid it is hard to find.
