Look'n great there Steve, love the classic liveries the most though especially the Ochre Livery , brings back memories, just a shame no polished belly, that would of made it 100% for me, since back in the day Ochre Livery painted QF Aircraft always had a polished belly, I remember seeing VH-EAA at Perth International in 1986 with that lovely polished belly, just awesome, as it adds that extra shine to it.
Would be nice if Gemini Jets or JC Wings would do a QANTAS B737-838 with the Yananji Dreaming Aboriginal Flying Artwork on it.
Sadly only Herpa Wings made these, I do remember you having one as well

Thank you Steve for these pictures of a nicely detailed QANTAS B 737-800.
A perfect fit for your growing QANTAS fleet.
I am a bit jealous, AF models are so rare, I am afraid that waiting for the AF hundredth anniversary to see the release of models wearing the livery of my airline could be beyond my horizon.
Thank you everyone. I must admit the new Qantas Silver Roo livery is growing on me too. Hard to adjust, however, getting to like it more. Glad you are well JP too, I do worry about you and all the members of this community. While our planet moves towards you northern hemisphere dwellers to a pleasurably spring and summer we are now heading towards autumn and winter right in the path of this virus. Hopefully GJ do more Air France. I think they will. They seem to be doing more these days more than JCW. My KLM GJ 100 years 787-10 order has gone missing in action. Maybe someone here could tell me when it's shipping out from GJ warehouse
Yes we do need Yananyi Dreaming in diecast. I have just a few more photos.
Gear down under wing shot port side shot
Something for tomorrow

A very very nice 737 line up in the beautiful Qantas red Steve! Since when are the Qantas titles on the belly? Do the wide bodies have that too?

Hi Tom Qantas latest livery the "Silver Roo" was launched in 2016 for the 787-9 deliveries.
This new livery was launched on VH-QPJ. To answer your question, all wide body's in the new Silver Roo have Qantas titles on the belly. You also might like to note that GJ use exactly the same paint applies for the titles, which change from Black to Grey in natural day light.
Thank you Steve, looks nice on the belly. Have to check my herpa 787, hope it is accurate and has the titles on the belly too.

The Retro Roo II, that's in the background, is that the Inflight200 or Gemini200 !?...
If it's inflight200 version, would you please post a few more pictures and share a few comments!?...
I'm thinking of getting one myself, but I can't decide. Thanks mate

Thanks mate,
Both the Retro Roo's I & II that I have are GJ. The Inflight200 737-8 tooling is newer and came out after GJ releases. The only difference is the Inflight200 will be heavier, because I have held an Inflight200 737-8 jet(non Qantas) and the landing gear maybe better, but don't quote me on that. CAMS (Collectors Aircraft models in Melbourne store / showroom is closed due to Covid-19, however, you can ring Murray and ask him the difference, or at least ask him when they may reconsider re-opening so you can see for yourself. Here is Retro Roo II by GJ I have not seen the Inflight200 Qantas Retro Roo II in person, it looks just as good as GJ. Good luck which ever way you go.

I plan to take all my models out of their cabinet to take some pictures.
That is the only solution to have something decent.
Jean Pierre.
I agree JP. I took some photos for the above request which had no natural daylight left when I logged on. I have never taken photo's of the GJ Retro Roo's before so there was no file of this model when I got it. It is the best I could do. I agree with you it's not good enough. Best photographed inside of cabinet in full daylight
After seeing these pictures, I believe the Gemini200 version of the Retro Roo II, is better than Inflight, specially the nose area and engines height from the ground.
I really like the latest 738 (Gemini200 G2QFA878), in Silver Roo livery.
I think I would consider this, over the Inflight’s Retro Roo II...

Aussiejets - after seeing your pictures, I decided to get this new release model from GeminiJets.
It arrived today. Overall, I’m quite pleased with it.
Every model, has its own pros and cons and this one is no exception !
I’m a bit annoyed with the appearance of the nose undercarriage which seems a bit too small and the main undercarriage loose fit.
I remembered all my previous 1:200 GeminiJets B737s in the past, they all had an undercarriage fit issue, so it’s not surprising !
