Default GJ 1:200 Virgin Atlantic Flaps Down Has Landed!

My first 1:200 model purchase in 14 months! I've forgotten how exciting it is to open the box and gaze upon these models when we get them. Thankfully, it's a sunny day in Seattle and I was able to get some photos. I can't figure out how to upload from Flickr. Oh, well. What a magnificent model. Russell, thank you so much for the photos you posted and for the recommendation. If GJ plans to release a flaps down Virgin B789 please PM me cos I'll be certain to grab one, especially if it's a model of an aircraft I've flown on.

It's now safely tucked away back in its box awaiting its journey to London when the borders reopen. Enjoy!

its easy to upload from Flickr! click on picture you want. that will come up on its own. click the arrow right icon bottom right. then click on the BBC CODE on right. then choose picture size from drop down box. 1024 x 490 is the norm. then highlight and copy the url in the box. picture will come out like below. but I usually delete name and wording just leaving the picture.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas <3 You did it YEESSSSSS <3
Looks lovely too! So happy you are back, always missed your threads and sorry for the late reply tho, flaps down models yea thought about it, but since all the 32 I have here don't have that I am sticking to the conventional style for now

Love the deep red pain though that the tailfin has, looks like it's metallic pain as well as I can see sparkles in it
But hey I hope to see more from you KLM4me

Great looking plane! Lovely pics. Makes me want to 'invest' in that SAA Springbok 747-400 coming out next month!

You're very kind, thank you. I figured if I was going to buy another 1:200 model it needed to be special not just to me but in other ways. I love Virgin and the flaps-down makes it different than my 1:400 models. And if GJ produces a flaps-down Virgin 787 I'll buy one, too. And yes, both the white on the fuselage and the red are pearlescent. I can't tell ya how exciting it was to open the box and how happy I am with it.
