I bought it too, It is interesting to have this model in your collection because I don't know what AF-KLM will do in the future with these aircraft.

It was initially said that all the AF B 787s would be transferred to KLM, AF having only A 350s in its fleet.

Deferrals and cancellations would not be a surprise.

In a few months, AF livery on a B 787 could be a thing of the past.

Very nice model.

Jean Pierre.

Real tomato ketchup Eddie?
Nothing but the best! "I don't know why they call this stuff hamburger helper. It does just fine by itself, huh? I like it better than tuna helper myself, don't you, Clark?"
"you're the gourmet around here, Ed!"

It is a lovely model, thanks Arinmuk, and the world right now is in uncharted territory. It's interesting comments you make JP, and I hope, as do you, that it is not the case. It's just catastrophic what Corona virus has done world wide.

The plan to move the 787s to KLM was in place before coronavirus. Since taking over as CEO of Air France, Ben Smith is trying to rationalize and standardize the AF fleet. AF will be flying the A350, KL will be flying the 789.

Yes, I remember hearing about that just when the 787 was starting to be delivered around and the A350 was being tested. Interesting that AF took on the 787 anyhow, even for a just a short time.

The more I think about it, I 'may' have heard about this from you?

No, it was the first time I posted about it myself. Someone else may have before me.

AF has one more 789 that was supposed to be delivered this year, but with everything going on right now, who knows? AF like the rest of the industry is in dire straits, although the French and Dutch governments are committed to keeping AF-KLM as a viable business.

The 789s will eventually be transferred to KLM, and then future deliveries of the A350 that were originally ordered for KLM will go to AF.
