Since we are on lockdown, I had the time to share pics of my new Russian and 2 British arrivals. The Russians and the Comet are from Sergei, the Brabazon is a Helmet kit, but finished for me by Sergei (I started it but just did not have the time. Sergei finished it for me basically for a song.) The AN-225's are not wood but fiberglass. The idea for the Aeroflot livery is from pictures that I found online and fell in love with it. Ever since I saw the An-225 in Oakland Airport on Sept. 2018 (It was taking FEMA supplies for the hurricane Olivia victims) it has become my favorite Aircraft. I have 5 of them in my collection.

Real tomato ketchup Eddie?
Nothing but the best! "I don't know why they call this stuff hamburger helper. It does just fine by itself, huh? I like it better than tuna helper myself, don't you, Clark?"
"you're the gourmet around here, Ed!"
Wow! That is an amazing and rare collection youve got there.. Beautiful

Great to see a Comet I on this forum, if we except the 20 year old Historic Aircraft Model, so far this aircraft has been completely ignored.
I have another one, custom made, using the cheap Silver Classics, I attach pictures.
A few others were made with AF, UAT, Canadian Pacific and RCAF liveries.
The Brabazon is a great model, very easy to make and cleverly designed, usually, when you make a model, you need putty, with this one assembling the parts was so perfect that it was not necessary.
I am sure you would love to have the Saro Princess too, you can get it from Wojtek Benzinski.

WOW! Congrats and Fantastic looking custom models you have there! I would definitely sign up to see the AN-225 in person. Yes, that silver livery for Aeroflot does seem striking and could see why you fell for it. 5 AN-225 models in your collection is not fair! I don't have any yet. Cheers, and stay safe/healthy! T7

Jean Pierre.
Yes JP, I already have the kit for Saro Princess. I bought it a little over a year together with the Brabazon. This time I will start and finish it myself. Thanks!
Thanks so much, everyone! Stay safe. By the time this pandemic is over which I hope very, very soon, probably most of us would have engaged in what Crownvic calls in another post: "boredom purchases" stupor and will probably ask yourself why you bought these models
