Default 3 new arrivals and 4 new customs

I managed to spend the weekend at the place where my collection lives, and it was freezing outside, so I stayed in, did some custom work and then grabbed some quick pictures of the results. I say "quick" because the room where my diorama is is not heated, and the temp was not much better than outside.

In any case, here are the new arrivals. First up, a GJ Vueling A320. Not a new model to the market, but new to me, as I flew Vueling for the first time last year and have been on the lookout for an example at a decent price.

Next up, back to my main collection theme is a BA Landor A320 and a British Airtours 737-200.

Now for the customs. First up is a British Airways A320 with the Bauhaus/Germany tail. The donor was a JC BA A320 but the tail was badly bent and damaged. I tried to patch it up and repaint, but it sill looks crappy.

Next up are 3 BA 747-400s for the World Tail collection. Two South African Ndeble variations, and Market Day (Saudia Arabia). Not my best work, but not bad. Donors were 2 Phoenix Blue Poole models and a Grand Union. Decals by v1 decals. They join the other 737s here

Great custom work John.
I have an Inflight BA Landor B737-200 and it is my favourite BA model.

Thanks guys. I have a couple more 734 donors to transform, but it will be a few weeks before I get to them. Likely targets are the British Legion “poppy” remembrance tail and Crossing Borders (Egypt)

Awesome photos. I really think that JC A320 Landor has one of the best A320 nose gears I've seen in a while.

I have Manchester and Birmingham. I'm still debating if I should get Airtours, World's greatest offer, and the regular Landor 737-200..... and possibly that christmas landor too

Get them all.... it's only going to cost you shelf space.

Oh yes, and money

Im more worried about Shelf space then Money

But I secured the christmas landor for $60 USD. An eBay seller has worlds greatest offer on sale for $70 I believe. I'd only be missing the Original Landor 737-200 which was produced in 2007. Would be challenging to locate that. I recently saw photos of BA Landor on the 737-300 (or was it -500?) and now I want that in 1:400 and 1:200

Agreed - we need a -300 and -400 in Landor. The closest i have been able to get so far is a Landor tail on a World Tail/Union Flag body on a -400 in the interim/transitional livery.

Full blooded Landor would be more work as a custom, and beyond my current reach..

I recently got the Landor Tail on a World Tail/Union Flag (Or Landor Hybrid as its known) on the GeminiJets 737-500 1:400. Cool little piece, and I'm sad no one but Netmodels made the hybrid in 1:400. Agreed this is a 1:200 thread, did you custom make or get the offical Hybrid 747-400 release?

A former member (Al King) made it for me years ago. Now he is out of the hobby and I do my own. I have some Landor 737 tail decals somewhere if you want to have a go.

Thanks for the offer but I don’t have the slightest clue on how to do custom work. Somebody else does my customs for me (mostly BA 747-400 all the ones you’ve seen on V1 Decals) in the 1/400 scale. But I think it would be pretty cool if a full Landor livery was made on a 737-300,-400,-500 as I don’t think it’s been made before in both scales. Would be a hot seller!

Nice custom work again.

Did you have the Deutsche BA with black or blue underbelly?

Sorry for the delayed response. Yes - I have a couple of those:

The original Herpa, and my 1st attempt at a custom, that needs to be redone. Then the metal versions that were customs based on the interim livery.
