Default 200 Aviation/Inflight200 Help

Hi Everyone, I recently got the Virgin Atlantic Harry Potter 747-400 1:200 by 200 Aviation/Inflight 200.

My question to people who own this model or a 200 Aviation 747-400 model from 2011 ish era, did these models come with a Nose Gear attached PLUS another nose gear in a little baggy inside the box? I am asking because the attached nose gear is sorta broken/ wheel and the metal needle part needs to be glued back together, but how come they came with 2 nose gears?

I have one of these and it did not come with an extra nose gear. I can only suggest your seller sourced another knowing the one on the model was broken... & left it to a new owner to fix!

Yes, that's what I am thinking. But the original already attached nose gear isn't technically broken. Just loose and not attached to the metal rotating tip of the gear which is an easy fix in itself. I guess I have an extra 747-400 1/200 nose gear if anyone requires one, but the replacement one does not rotate like the one already attached to the model. I absolutely love this model so much!

Congrats on a very cool and interesting livery. Glad the gear is not a big deal. These days every box I open upon arrival is a mix between gleeful anticipation and dread.

Right there with you. Nowadays I expect something to be floating around in the box separate from the rest of the plane - a wheel, engine, tail plane, etc. Fortunately most are an easy fix, but some will leave damage behind. Very sad for the amount of money we pay for these beauties.

Thankfully the damage was minimal and nothing was effected and in fact the repair is basically invisible. I’m just waiting for a Star Wars 747-400 in 1/200 or 1/400.

If anyone needs a 747-400 1/200 gear just ask me. The replacement gear doesn’t rotate or anything
