Default A pair of Easyjets

A couple of rather orange numbers, this boyo seems to have done the rounds on and off and on basis, last seen on Ebay and yet ARD still have them on pre-order - it may be that Mr EasyJet is upset again over unlicenced models...

EasyJet did not have a fleet strategy to include the 757. Indeed, it would not have had a 757 flying for it at all were it not for a brief spell of crew shortages. EasyJet wet leased all four of its 757s to operate flights over the busy summer season that year. As such, three Boeing 757s joined easyJet in June 2010, with a further one added to the stables in July. By September, all had returned to their relevant lessors, never to be seen on an easyJet route again.

Well it's certainly orange, a plain orange box, a rather smart plastic card and the stands are definitely getting posher... The JC 757 does have the magnetic undercarriage so it comes with a set of doors..

Its been a very grey winter, I was hoping for a cold, sunny, blue sky spell but this really was the best we could muster.

Seen doing circuits and bumps back at Baldock International...

Scuse the picture sizes.... that's photophucket...

On a photographic note these are absolute swines to photograph, Nikon cameras of my generation hate red and combinations of, so orange is a real pig to get to look like the actual product. All the photos came out with the tail looking a more ruby orange than the easyjet colour so the inflight ones all required de-saturation and the red yellow temperature setting moved more toward the yellow. No doubt an i phone would have handled it all without any issues...

Next it's back to Airbuses.....

The other similarly packaged complete with the plastic card and stand but a fixed undercarriage was an A320 'Berlin'.

... and airborne...

Hadn't gone away old froot, like yourself, too busy but occasionally you have to make some downtime and go shoot some stuff... trouble is the preparation time of setting up all the lights etc... so went outside...

Wanted to shoot a lot more but the weather has been really overcast of late.. was hoping for one of those frosty mornings with a bright blue sky but this year January has been ever so mild...

Heigh Ho...

...gratuitous Connie photo... where is Mr Bridges these days...?

I appears that JC Wings have been viewing my custom models and decided to make one of their own.

Ok so I looked under a few rocks and asked a few questions, been told this was an additional release but not officially released yet.

Well done to Agent x20 for landing it and top marks for knowing about this model. His post is the first most of us have heard about this. Let’s hope it’s the first of many including a Neo.

I was wondering about this release too. The photos of the model and box look pretty official leading me to think it is a regular JC release. I expect to see them widely available soon however maybe JC still like to keep some releases more quiet than others due licensing issues maybe?

A future easyJet NEO would be welcome however I’d rather see a 737-33V before (although I very much doubt it will happen)
